My sister and I recently went to create memorial crafts for my Dad who recently passed. We had an incredible experience because of Julia. Julia took the greatest care of us from start to finish to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed an emotional experience. She was SO kind and helped us through each step of our bracelet and necklace. Julia was the reason we had a great time and will be back to see her again. She is a tremendous manager, and total rockstar to her customers. Thank you Julia for a beautiful experience for my sister and me!

They have a lot of fun and simple crafts that are fun to do in a group setting. You can also order drinks from the bar. The reason for the rating, the staff was rude and unfriendly. When I needed to check out, the cashier was talking to another employee for 5 mins...I was standing beside the other employee and I was the only person in line. I'm a patient person, but this was ridiculous.

Upstairs Circus ATX is a really fun “do something” bar downtown—part craft workshop, part cocktail spot. You pick a DIY project at your table, they bring everything you need, and you can sip on cocktails/beer while you make it. The vibe is upbeat and social, great for date night, birthdays, or a group outing when you want more than just sitting at a bar. Staff is helpful explaining the projects, and it’s nice that you leave with something you actually made. Reservations are a smart move on busy nights.

So fun! We really enjoyed the happy hour here. Can be a little on the pricey side for some of the crafts but otherwise was w great experience.

A cute mix of DIY home projects and drinks in a social space. Since you're doing it yourself the results will vary. The project estimate times are pretty accurate, and none of the complexities are too hard to finish. They don't strictly hold your hand, so if you have an artistic idea you can try to implement it.
This afternoon what they were doing with the projects and behind the bar. Great friendly people with just the right amount of concern but distance to let you do your thing.

First things first this view was hands down the best view of the Austin skyline I have ever seen. The service was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly wait staff. I'm definitely a cocktail girl and I would give their cocktails a 5/5. The food was delicious. The atmosphere is super cozy and romantic, patio and bar areas were not overcrowded. I definitely plan to visit again. Great spot to bring out of town visitors.

This place was awesome!! The staff was really great at helping us or answering questions if we needed. I don’t know who came up with an event space to drink alcohol and do arts and crafts, but I’m so glad they did! 😂 I did the string art, and it took me about 2.5 hours!

Such a fun time! Been here twice and it was a blast both times. A great variety of crafts from easy to hard, and the bar has fantastic cocktails. The staff are wonderful and helped us figure out the right crafts for our group. Will definitely be back again -- a nice and easy night out.
