John Davis and Katie were such great teachers! John exudes peace and presence and feels teaches life lessons through the practice of pottery, like mindfulness and not getting attached to end result or specific expectation. Loved the outdoor geodesic dome setting in the woods such a relaxing and peaceful experience of creating with the element of earth. Will definitely come back to learn more and hone this beautiful grounding new creative practice.

Pottdaddy offers amazing, unique classes in a beautiful setting! This is such a one of a kind experience that you can’t get at any other pottery studio. Both teachers I have had were so kind and helpful. This is great for date night, a solo activity, or with friends. Cant recommend more!

My friends and I had an incredible time! The instructors were kind and knowledgeable. Honestly, I could go on and on about them alone: funny, interesting, authentic, welcoming, warm…really everything you could ask for. As far as the space, it is both relaxing and inspiring. You are surrounded by nature, creativity and vivid color. I felt both at peace and energized in a way that is hard for me to explain. All supplies are provided. Definitely a must-do!

Great experience! Definitely felt the Austin vibes. It was small and intimate group. It’s in the artist house and the house is covered in eclectic art and lights it’s super cool! The pottery stations are outside, it was a beautiful setting. John the host is very kind, patient and encouraging. A must do if you’re visiting Austin, for a date night or a small friends group night ! You do have to sign up for the glossing 2 weeks later, but I’m glad because the place was so inspiring.
