The piano player was not very good! I don't want to be mean, because I have no musical talent myself, but it just wasn't the kind of experience you spend money on. I requested "Come on Eileen" and she admitted that she wouldn't be able to play that. I asked if she could do "Vienna" by Billy Joel and she couldn't play that either, so she picked a different Billy Joel song. The same thing happened when my friend requested a song. There weren't a lot of song requests from the crowd, so she played songs like "Mickey" and "5000 Miles". I really don't like these songs and she would often change up the lyrics, which made it worse. At the end of the night, she admitted she only learned to play piano a few years ago! I went to a piano bar in Savannah, Georgia which was a lot better. They had multiple performers on stage, so they were able to take breaks, and pick the right performer for each song. They were very experienced and able to play the requested songs with the right lyrics. Maybe we need to drive into Austin for that kind of experience.

They have a great selection of specialty drinks, and while the space is small, it’s a cozy and inviting spot to grab a drink within the resort. I visited while the piano player, Tammy T, was performing. She was not only talented but also very welcoming and happy to take requests, which made the experience even better. The banana foster dessert martini was the highlight of my time absolutely delicious! Though it would have been perfect with the caramel rim included. I ordered three different days and it was not included but does say it on the menu.

April 2026: We saw Tammy T live and she was very talented! She really interacted with the customers and we had a great time! 2022 review: Great smoked maple bacon old fashioned! Service was quick! The piano player was good. Didn’t get to our songs even after we waited 3 hours that’s okay maybe she got around to it after.

The atmosphere is good, and the music is good, but the problem is that the man playing the piano won't play the songs you request unless you tip him. We've been here for two hours and he still hasn't played the songs we asked for.

We went here for my sister in laws birthday given how great our previous experiences have been. Unfortunately, they must have hired new bartenders (2 females) that spend more time analyzing the patrons than servicing those needing a drink. Better yet, I had 2 drinks and they cut me off. I saw them do the same to a couple others leading up to my incident. These folks need to calm down. Won’t be going back.

First time leaving a review. First time going to Redd's. Atmosphere is amazing. Welcoming, clean, and the best drinks I've ever had. Our server was Aj. Made a drink that he created himself. Tasted just like a Mexican mango lollipop. We got 3 cause it was so good! Also the performer at the piano was awesome. She took a lot of requests and was really good at singing. Made a good date!
