This place impressed us from the second we walked through the door! The atmosphere was stylish, lively, and created the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. You can really tell the kitchen puts a lot of care into every detail. The creativity and passion behind the food truly stood out, making the entire experience feel special. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back.

Incredible lunch. I have heard of this place several times and not sure why, but we never tried it until today. It was fantastic- had the deviled eggs- wonderful combo with pancetta, the Chicken Paillard was outstanding and the Farro Bowl with the trout a wonderful pairing. Oh and the fries.... perfect. Kara waited on us and was one of the best servers we have had in a long time- she was personable, friendly and attentive. They have an outside patio that was nice but a bit too hot for us today but nice spacious tables and patio set up.

Went for a birthday after not having been in years and it was consistently good. The food is delicious, the service is spot on and the space is welcoming and enjoyable. Glad to be back and will continue to return

This place is set in an old laudromat which gives it a distinct vibe. It is ideal for couples and and large groups as they have seating options for every party size. The food was great! We tried a few from across the menu - meat, fish and the works and everything was top notch. They also have their house cocktails which totally hit the spot. We were here after a business meeting and the dinner experience was honestly great.

Had a horrible experience, and it was not because my friend had a seizure during our visit.

3 friends and I were at Laundrette when one of my friends started having violent unexpected seizure. I immediately got up to call 911 while my 2 other friends tried to help her.

Once she was loaded into the ambulance, the manager slipped me the bill. We are happy to pay, just the way he went about it was very surprising.

After this, we asked the manager if he could ensure our friend’s car doesn’t get towed from the Laundrette parking lot, as she was just sent to the ER and we weren’t sure if she needed to spend the night. His response? “Uhh.. sure”

As far as hospitality and basic human decency goes, they seem to be severely lacking, and after an extremely traumatic experience no less.

There was a server named Kylie who was very sweet.

As far as the food - the plancha burger was horrendous - ground pork and beef. Would not recommend. Fries were good. Not sure what my friends thought of their food.

Such a great dinner - beautiful and delicious food. We shared a few selections and everything was on point, flavorful, and filling. We were only in town for one night and would come back in a heartbeat if back in town. We opted to sit outside which was our only struggle - flies were pretty bad.

Super cute spot. Service is always charming and dishes are creative and well executed. Brunch includes amazing pastries and flavorful savory dishes. Desserts are unique and satisfying

Launderette in Austin is one of those spots that just gets everything right. We ordered the brick chicken, the whole grilled branzino, and the sweet potatoes and every single dish hit. The brick chicken was crispy and flavorful, the branzino was perfectly cooked and clean, and the sweet potatoes are a must, honestly unreal and easily the standout of the table. The vibe is relaxed but still feels elevated, service is solid, and the whole experience feels thoughtful without trying too hard. If you’re going, don’t skip the sweet potatoes.

Always excellent. I'm surprised this place isn't always packed, as the food and atmosphere is fantastic. Never been disappointed in any way. The octopus was stellar, every bite a pleasure. Our crudo was fresh and bright. The hamburger was simple yet profound, executed perfectly. The drinks were quality and delicious. If you haven't been, GO!

We came here for Sunday brunch and liked the light filled space and atmosphere. The food took over 35 minutes to arrive which felt slow. Between the two of us, we shared the asparagus Benedict (the flavour was great but the portion was very small and it only came with two tiny slices of asparagus), chicken sammie (chicken was a bit dry but still tasty) with a side of the frites (these didn’t feel fresh) and the blueberry pancakes (decent but not the best we’ve had).

Food is good, service is okay, but real problem is if you sit outside you are going to be swarmed by flies. This has been consistent sitting outside. Inside is very loud.

The food is really good and the staff seem happy and nice and knowledgeable. Had the $16 biscuit sandwich and it was great. Could complain, I guess, about the price to portion size ratio but I guess that’s how it is everywhere these days.

Whether I go for brunch or dinner, everything at Launderette is always perfection! This is my “neighborhood go-to” for a reason!
The food is delicious, shareable and always gets rave reviews from my guests. I love sitting on the patio when the weather allows but the inside aesthetics are top notch. Love this place so much.

What a wonderful gem tucked away in the Holly neighborhood. This little restaurant is classic Austin. Casual vibes but upscale eatery and bar. Smart to make a reservation if you can. Weekend brunch is amazing and it gets very busy. Great place for a date night with your partner. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The theme of the restaurant/bar is cute as can be. Amazing cocktails. Do yourself a favor and check it out if you haven’t already. Hey, you might spot a celebrity or two in there every once in a while.

Had a fun little girls dinner here while visiting Austin. Loved the options for different shared plates. Did we order too much? Yes. 🤣 my favorites were the buratta and the crab toast. The brick chicken was 10/10 and I feel like I could eat that every day. The cocktails were also super yummy. I wish we had room for the desserts! It was also dog friendly outside. Would definitely recommend as a spot to visit if your in Austin for a few days.

Casual restaurant in a former laundromat with upscale food and a competent bar.

Dishes come as they are ready. The restaurant recommended thinking "family style" for consumption (a growing trend I'm honestly getting a bit tired of). Regardless this place has excellent food made with care and attention which changes often. I'd say most parties will require a few starters as the entrees are not gigantic.

The cocktails are solid. The house menu is tasty but not edgy. I ordered off menu as well and had no complaints. Certainly a place you could come just for a drink and a snack.

It's a nice departure from the usual stuff downtown but you can still walk here from downtown if the weather is nice.

    Highly recommended!
