This place really impressed me, but the service is what made the night unforgettable. Our waiter was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel like valued guests from the moment we sat down. The drinks were excellent, and the friendly atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Everything felt genuine and well cared for. I’d happily recommend this spot to anyone looking for great hospitality, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The truffle fries from here are my favorite. Had a seasonal cocktail (yuzu sexy) awhile back that was so good. Attentive servers. Love this place!

Beautiful spot which rich textures and fabrics everywhere! The color pallets, quirky art and architecture are top notch! Waitress didn't check on us often which was surprising due to it being slow while we were there so imagine service might be underwhelming if they are busy. We all ran out of water mid meal and never got a refill. 🫠
The Tomatoes and Burrata app was pretty but underseasoned. A little salt and acid could really help. My Crispy Eggplant wasn't even slightly crispy but it had a really great flavor with mint and Tahini. The No Shade Mocktail was the star of the night! Delicious and different 😋 👌 😍. I would come back again to try other menu items, have another No Shade & enjoy the vibes. A nice little Austin original.

TLDR: 5/5 stars for the cocktails. I would come back for drinks, during happy hour. Full priced food...not so much. 2/5 stars. Dessert menu: 4/5 stars

Drinks:
Girl Dinner: savory and truffle.
All she wrote: interesting and adventurous. Glad I got to try it.
Shuck me sideways: great follow up drink. Sweet, lemony and balanced. Would get again.
Sazerac: solid.
Spicy mezcal carajillo: wonderful and well balanced. Would get again.

Food:
Beet carpaccio: sounded good on paper. i would have added more vinaigrette or topped with some cheese.
Fancy burger: all other ingredients were good but the meat lacked flavor. I was a tad overcooked as well. Fries need a tad bit of flavor too. More salt or pepper or something.

Seoul hot chicken: not worth the price. Chicken feels ALMOST like the Trader Joe's Orange chicken bag. It's good, but I wouldn't pay 30 for it

Overall, for the food and price. I can't give it many stars. Either lower the price or increase the flavors/quality for me. Still interested in the happy hour food menu bc the price would be in that low risk category.

Dessert:
Banana pudding: pistachio crumble was delicious. Banana flavor wasn't too in the front.
Cucumber lime sorbet: imma sucker for sorbet. I wouldn't get the cucumber flavor again but open for other flavors. It was free so that helped.

Honey Moon Spirit Lounge is a fantastic spot and absolutely worth a visit. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, with dishes that feel intentional and well-executed rather than just thrown together. The drinks are excellent too, with a bar program built around classic cocktails and fresh ingredients that really stand out.

What really makes the place shine, though, is the staff. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and clearly cares about making sure guests have a great experience. Combine that with the cozy, eclectic atmosphere and it’s an easy recommendation. Totally recommend checking it out.

A hidden gem with faults.
I rarely go near Austin UT area these days but I happened to be around there for a errand. Searched for brunch near me. This place was suggested. Ratings were good so I decided to give a try.

Mixed results:

Atmosphere: a beautiful bungalow surrounded by green areas to sit outside. Live swing music playing in the background. Charming.

Food: ok but nothing special. The French omelet with Boursin was well executed but had no flavor. Side Arugula salad was lacking dressing. The pickled red onions were a nice touch though.

Service: a disaster. The hostess was nice. My waiter (tall with short shorts) was standing about 10 feet away from my table chatting away with another customer for a few minutes before he noticed/paid attention to me. Not nice. He eventually came over to my table casually. Took my order (French omelet, cappuccino and sparkling water. I added a side of their fries later on), and walked away.

It took him about 10 min before he brought me my sparkling water (the place wasn't very busy).

About 20 min later, my cappuccino showed up but something was wrong, so the barman had to go back and redo it. I was not offered sugar or a teaspoon to stir. Had to ask for it. He brought me a teaspoon of sugar in a stainless steel cup, not in bags. A little shintzy.

Fries: a poor excuse for French fries (I am French myself). Plain, no flavor and the mouthful if cardboard. Obviously a commercial product. Adding chopped parley did not improve it.

A somewhat happy ending. As my waiter realized that I was upset about all the delays, he gracefully comped my the cappuccino and fries. Thanks for that.

In fine, if you're looking for a charming place to have a casual meal with friends, enjoy yourself. Not me. Too bad. I wanted to like this place.

We LOVE Honey Moon Spirt Lounge! Today we checked out their brunch and had several favorites! First, don’t skip out on the lattes. Not only are the dishes beautiful that your latte comes in, but the quality of the coffee, the frothed milk, and the latte temp were perfect!! I almost ordered another one! For reference we got an Oatmilk latte with vanilla.
Second, the biscuits with whipped beetroot butter and local honey is pure comfort and happiness. I would go back just for these and coffee!!! WOW!! My compliments to the chef! Don’t change a thing!!
Third, I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict and my husband ordered the Seoul Chicken and Waffles. The salmon was very tasty and I feel the amount was perfect. The poached egg was cooked to perfection. My only suggestion would be the hollandaise sauce needs more flavor and was a bit too thick, but over all I enjoyed it and would definitely order it again.
My husband loved the chicken and waffles. The hint of spiciness from the chicken with the sweet syrup is incredible.
Last- GET THEIR DRINKS!!!!! My husband is obsessed with their old fashions!
If you haven’t been here, it’s an absolute must. Honey Moon is an Austin gem!!! The vibe is incredible, the ambiance is so mesmerizing and sultry with the tiniest details catching your eye! I find something new to be in awe of every time we stop in!

Meh. Lots of ups and downs here. The space is great. Decor, lighting, seating - all good. Gazpacho was the clear highlight. The dissappointment was the scallops with grits. Items on the menu that are spicy are all marked with a flame icon - 1 flame regardless of spice level. We inquired with our server Autumn about the spice level in advance who assured us that HMSL had no intention of setting up alight with heat! Well two in our party ordered the scallops and one dish I'd give it 2 peppers out of 4 and the other was a 4 out of 4 - profuse sweating after the 3rd bite! Not only that, the dish features a measly 2 scallops which is pretty ridiculous. When informed of the 4 pepper spice level, Autumn was unapologetic. There were some other flubs as well. The white wine was served not properly chilled - when we asked for an ice bucket, they simply put ice in the bottom of the marble wine crock leaving the bottle to just stick up more out in the open air! They serve champagne by the bottle, not being able to provice an ice bucket is absurd. There were a few other small service issues I won't bore you with. Overall, the vibe is good, and some menu items, including the halibut, were worthy but for what you are spending (in the range of $100 per person) execution should be much much better.

Great atmosphere and dining without having to go downtown. The staff is mad friendly and the vibes are relaxed and warm. Bartender makes a great whiskey sour and their house cocktails are great too. First time I went our waitress recommended the Seoul Hot fried Lions Mane mushroom with an egg on top and its all I order anytime I go now. It is divine. Crispy, spicy, and flavorful. Go for a date night, go for a random Thursday, just go.

I don't even know where to begin with this place. From the outside looking in, you can't tell, but the inside of this restaurant is so gorgeous and unique! There are countless places to take great photos at!
Our waittres was so kind and very knowledgeable of the menu. The only complaint is she kept taking our plates before we could lick them clean. Each dish was very good and unique as well. The smoked old fashioned and espresso martini were very good.

And at the end of our dinner the waittress brought us a vintage looking postcard and told us we could fill it out to anyone in the world and they mail it for you! So cool and unique, definitely a nice touch to let them stand out!!
I definitely will be going back!
