What makes it fun
The George Washington Carver Museum is home to art galleries, classroom, conference room, dance studio, darkroom, archive storage and a large theater. Exhibits display African American history, an Artists Gallery and a children’s feature on African American inventors and scientists. This museum is an incredible display of the rich history of the African American community in the heart of Austin.
