    What makes it fun

Eberly strives to maintain the local flavor and atmosphere that has made the city the great place that it is. They serve contemporary American cuisine in their welcoming study or rooftop event space. A highlight of Eberly is the historic Cedar Tavern Bar, which has hosted some of histories greatest artists including Jackson Pollock, Bob Dylan and Jimi Hendrix.

We had a really enjoyable experience here. The mushroom tempura appetizer was one of the highlights and definitely worth ordering. The spaghettini was also excellent, especially the flavorful sauce that brought the whole dish together. The service was friendly, quick, and helpful, with each plate explained clearly. While the prices are a little higher, the quality of the food and overall experience made it feel worthwhile. I’d happily come back and try more dishes.

Stopped by this place when I was in Austin recently and I really liked the.vibe and the service. Bartender Braylan probably made the best drinks I ever had in my life.

Celebrated my birthday here and felt so special!! Staff is extremely welcoming and attentive. Ambiance is perfectly dim & sexy. Amazing food & cocktails, can’t wait to come back! I’ve told probably one person a day about this spot since my visit, because that’s how much I loved it.

This was a perfect experience for our anniversary dinner! Service, setting, food were all spot on! Cesar Salad, Burrata , and Rolls to start with were amazing! Texas Wagyu and Spaghetini (w/Lobster) were home runs! We went all out and got three desserts which were all great, pistachio crème brûlée was our fav!

Thank you for making our anniversary night very special! 🙏

Loved Cedar Tavern for date night! The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the cocktails were all 10/10. We took a spot at the bar and Braylon made the best cocktails. I highly recommend the tavern burger, pommes dauphines, Mexican and classic martinis and sticky toffee pudding. We will be back!

Dinner at Eberly was fantastic. The drinks are outstanding and clearly crafted with care, and the cocktail program alone makes it worth a visit. The menu is thoughtful and well designed, with dishes that feel intentional and balanced rather than overly complicated. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

The overall experience really stood out. From the food to the drinks to the atmosphere, it all feels carefully curated. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the night even better. If you’re looking for a great dinner spot in Austin with excellent cocktails and a well-crafted menu, this place is an easy recommendation. Totally recommend.

Beautiful spot with excellent greens. The Caesar salad is enough for four people. It's a good level of salty and umami. The salty comes from the cheese and the umami from the egg, so there's no sardines and it is vegetarian. The charred cabbage had good moistness with the sauce reaching the core. This is also for four people so make sure to order wisely portion-wise.

The short rib was good and tender. The crudo you should make sure to have a piece of fur with each piece of fish so that the acid makes the tiger's milk pop better.

The atmosphere is lovely, either for a date night or a big get-together. Definitely a memorable place to visit with excellent staff.

Very delicious food! Good service and very attentive staff. We got the bread, chick pea fritter, wagyu steak, short rib, toffee cake, and chocolate cake. All delicious! Chick pea fritter appetizer was surprisingly large and a highlight. Temperature of the space isnt controlled very well in winter so dress warm.

What a lovely place! The history of the restaurant, the service, the food.
Our waiter Sam was very knowledgeable and shared with us the story behind the name of the restaurant and the details of the interior design. He also has a special talent when it comes to eloquently describing the process of making different dishes. He deserves a promotion or a bonus! ;)
Also special thank you to the chef Audrey for delicious food and its outstanding presentation.
Will definitely come back when we visit Austin next time!
P.S. They also charged our phones;)

This has become my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is to die for. Everything about this place, the food, the service, the atmosphere was amazing. Sam was our server and he was so friendly and super helpful. The executive chef here made the most amazing food. I cannot rave about this place enough. You need to try!

My friends and I visited this place recently. It was right before the sunset and it was not too busy. Service was expedient and courteous.
We sat in the beautiful area that was enclosed in glass. The dim lights and greenery really made it spacious and lovely. The appetizers we had were fantastic as well.
Overall, food quality was divine. We even got to learn a bit of history of the bar in the back area. Not many knew that it was originally from New York.
Definitely recommend it for a fancy night out for a date or some great double date options.
One word of warning, bathroom is extremely dim. It doesn't have obstacles but for those who do not have good vision, like me, please be careful!

Fun spot for a unique experience! They’re open for bunch on the weekends and it looks like they’re changing the menu on a regular basis with the pictures of the bunch food. We had the Southern Style Benedict & monkey bread. The Benedict was only 1 Benedict instead of the traditional 2 - the jalapeño bread was so delicious and the toppings was a great compliment. Monkey bread was just the right amount of sweet to balance out the Benedict.

Great interior design with a speak easy feel! Loved all the different spaces in the restaurant.
