What makes it fun

ConcertDome is an intimate 360-degree live music venue tucked inside a futuristic, geodesic dome. With fewer than 100 recliner style seats, live musicians, and immersive visuals projected across a 52-foot wraparound dome, the experience feels much more personal than a traditional concert. The rotating lineup includes everything from pop and rock tributes to classical pieces and film-inspired and seasonal programs, giving sweethearts plenty of options for a night that matches their musical tastes. The experience was absolutely amazing. I almost didn’t go because I was feeling anxious, tired, and fatigued from the day, but I’m so glad I did. When I first arrived, I was a little overwhelmed. The dome is round and designed for sound to travel and surround you, so while everyone was getting seated, I could hear footsteps and voices amplified throughout the space. That initially increased my anxiety and even made me feel a little nauseated. I was also worried that the visuals might make me dizzy. Before the show starts, though, they explain that if you ever feel overwhelmed, you’re welcome to step out for a break or simply close your eyes and enjoy the music. That immediately made me feel more at ease. Once the show started, all of my anxiety disappeared. I never got dizzy, the nausea went away, and I became completely relaxed. I love instrumental music, and the Strings and Space show was so beautiful that I actually became emotional and cried during parts of it. The seats were also incredibly comfortable, which was another concern of mine because I have an injury and usually lying flat for a long period of time can cause aching and discomfort. I was completely comfortable the entire time and had no pain at all. Those are some very nice comfortable seats better than the theater ones. I’ve attended another candlelight style concert in a building with wooden chairs, and I was uncomfortable throughout the whole experience, so the comfort here made such a difference. Honestly, the entire Concert Dome experience felt healing. I walked out with an improved mood and my anxiety completely gone, and I even woke up the next day with a genuine sense of well being. Thank you so much to everyone who created this experience, the staff, the musicians, and everyone involved in the setup. It was incredibly well thought out and beautifully executed. It was absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend it!

Concert Dome was such an unusual and memorable way to experience live music. The musicians were excellent, and hearing them perform inside a 3D dome made the evening feel special. The moving visuals were an interesting concept and added another dimension to the show, though they didn’t always feel as advanced or evolved as the music as they could. I’d happily return for the music and would love to see how the visual experience develops.

This experience is, put simply, SPECTACULAR! The conglomeration of talent is unmeasurable and worth sharing with everyone you love. There is a show for everyone! I’ve already booked a third show and look forward to what is next. The cool, comfortable and relaxed venue with the sheer wonder of it all is absolutely unmatched. What a cool gem!

We happened upon this wonderful venue and loved the experience. Glad we went early for the food truck experience, but the videos and the total immersion into music was nothing short of Awesome! At our ages, 77 and 75, we stepped back into our first years of marriage, it was a terrific evening. Don't miss it!!

Fabulous concert experience. Intimate, 100 seater, close up to the musicians with visual immersive projections. It’s also located on the Austin Beerworks grounds so great beverage offerings, three food trucks with a Bib Gourmand bbq truck.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience tonight for Eighties on Strings! Such a memorable experience. The performers seemed to truly enjoy playing and the audience was as thoroughly enjoyed engaged with every song. We will go again and highly recommend! Such a fun night!
