Live comedy is performed at Joe Rogan's club, Comedy Mothership, which is located in downtown Austin. The building that formerly housed the Ritz Theater is now home to the comedy club Comedy Mothership. Two distinct performance areas are available within the alien and art deco-inspired setting of Comedy Mothership. The best spot in Austin to catch stand-up comedy performances by local as well as national comedians is at the Comedy Mothership.

Door guy made me super uncomfortable, they act like a military checkpoint to get in. I hid my pocket knife in a well hidden spot since I couldn't bring it in only to find they stole it before I came out. Comedy was meh, I've had better experiences at literally any other comedy club in Austin

Stopped by on a Sunday evening just because my husband and I were in Austin that evening. Didn’t even know the comedian nor heard of him but he was hilarious. The staff were friendly and customer service was great.

Second time at the Mothership. The BEST time. From the staff to the comedians. We got to watch Joe Rogan and Friends the second time, and what a show!!! 2 drink minimum, no food options. So eat before. All smart items are bagged up till after the show. Great shirts after the show as well!

Must go here and see some shows! You will not be upset!

Kicks out women on their way to the bathroom who are at a table bc they are “laughing too loud.” My coworker was visiting Austin for the first time ever, and went to the bathroom and got kicked out. Our phones were in privacy pouches so she couldn’t call us. We have her purse and she’s missing…

She got assaulted by unhoused people on drugs, grabbing at her dress and ended up running to fire station 1, who took her in. She stayed with them until we found her through 311.

OMG! So much fun! It was well organized and very entertaining. You need to go in with an open mind as jokes can be a bit raunchy. I was surprised when they take your phones and Apple Watches and lock them in bags. It was refreshing to be so immersed without distractions.

Stopped by while walking 6th. Went into Mitzis for a drink and ended up on the list for the show. Go in to see Tony Rock and the show was outstanding. Such a great experience!

Had excellent time!!! We got to the Comedy Mothership about a hour before the show started on a Sunday! We were able to get a front row table. Make sure you go around the corner to get in line for the armband ! That’s where the line really starts! Easy process when you get inside they give you a bag to put phone in to lock it for the show, it’s worth it for the non distractions! Wait staff and the security staff were super helpful and very polite!!!
I will hopefully be back !!!

Fun experience, worth checking out once. Our comics were great, it was very organized. Show ran long, but that is to be expected with a bunch of comics. Drinks were pricey, but overall a great experience.

Went to see Joe Rogan + Friends. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! There were comedians whose names I did not recognize & some headliners. (All of which were hilarious!!) We’ve been there 2x. LOVE IT!!

My wife and I went to the late Dave Attell show and man did we have a great time. We were sat one row back, about 3 ft from the stage. All four of the comics were entertaining, Dave was hilarious. I see a lot of people complaining about the two drunk minimum or the pricing, neither one of which is a crazy ask. We had old fashions that were about $15 each, didn’t seem too steep. The place is exactly what a comedy club should be, we can’t wait to go back.

Joe Rogan did an incredible job with The Comedy Mothership.
Ever since I heard that this was opening up in Austin Texas its been on my Bucket List. We got a chance to experience a show in the Fat Man room on Sunday Night with Reggie Watts, and then Return the follow Night for Open Mic Night in the Little Boy room. Both nights were nights we will never forget! We had such an amazing time. I can not wait to book another trip to come down and see more shows! They way the staff handles customers getting in and out is amazing. They flow quickly and easy with no issues.
If you haven't checked out the Comedy Mothership, you are missing out!

We saw Duncan Trussel in the Fat Man, and it was incredible. The room was perfect, and the whole staff was calm, cool, and collected. Couldn’t believe it when Tom Segura appeared to do a short set and introduce Duncan. Would recommend this place to anyone. I had a surreal night!

We saw open mic night in the little room. Great host, staff and comedians. Bring something warm as the room is cold. Only thing I would adjust is the bright-green light telling the comedians their time is almost up…. Every time I went on all the people on the far wall got blinded by it. Not a big deal. Will visit again. Great vibes

Love this place. Every time I go, it's the best experience. Staff is super helpful, and the comedians are always hilarious and so nice in person. I have gotten to see my favorite comedians do surprise appearances. It was also my first time seeing my favorite comedian (Dave Attell), and that may be the hardest I have laughed in the last 10 years.I cannot recommend this place enough, and I will be there again soon. Great job Joe!

Amazing experience. That’s all you have to say. Traveled from Cincinnati, Ohio to see Joe and the rest of the talent. Missed Joe, but the talent there made up for it. We saw two shows, one in the Little Boy and one in the Fat Man. Both totally different experiences. Would highly recommend getting tickets to a show in both rooms while you are in town if you enjoy comedy.

If you have time the day prior check out Mitzi’s, great drinks with an even better vibe. Joe and his crew knocked it out of the park with this venue.

Will be back for more shows 100%!!!
