What makes it fun

Class Axe is more than just axe throwing. You and your friends will spend about an hour being trained by our certified professionals. Then, you'll get to throw axes at targets for a short while until you are all warmed up. Finally, it's on! The group tournament will begin and the last one standing will be crowned Axe Throwing Champion!

Took my love at the time Shawn on a full weekend getaway just for us! We had couples massages done and went out to eat, stayed at a beautiful hotel and I wanted us to do something we had not done before… 🪓 throwing and we loved it! Had some drinks, bought t-shirts, great customer service and more! It was a blast!

💯 across the board!
We had a wrap party for our independent film here, and had an absolutely blast!
The space easily accommodated our entire cast and crew, parking and location were easy, it is beautifully maintained and outfitted with all the tables and chairs we needed.
The games and service was top notch, Sloan was incredibly accommodating for our private event, and everyone had a GREAT time. I want to throw another party just to go back to this place!

Been participating in the Axe Throwing League and it's been a blast. Staff has been incredibly kind and attentive. Slone, I believe, has been very friendly and even sharpened my axe when it was a little dull. The lanes and the boards are well kept.

This place was absolutely fantastic. Great place to have fun with mature friends. They ensure you get proper instruction not only on axe safety but also on how to throw the axe. There is always someone there watching for safety, which is a sign they don't want anyone to get seriously injured. It was a lot of fun, I recommend it for anyone.

First time throwing axes, pretty easy to get the hang of. We were the only ones in the place, early Sunday afternoon. Helpful staff got us comfortable and then the hour flew by.

It’s really fun and the staff is great, but OMG it is SO hot!! We got overheated while we were there. Please keep it cooler to make the experience more enjoyable!!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by trying axe throwing for the first time at the Austin location on 3/17/23. We were the first reservation of the day, and Instructor Carrie S. greeted us with a warm smile. Carrie was patient, polite, and encouraging with our tutorial, and very helpful with constructive critiques. She made our time at Class Axe a FABULOUS one. We had so much fun there, that we shared our experience on social media and are planning on building a practice board in our yard. We will definitely be back for more axe throwing in the near future.

Nice thing to do in approx 2 hours. It's a fun activity especially when you are a group. If you are not too competitive, it's also great fun for the youngsters. This was the only place I found in Austin that would let our 12yr old play.
It's BYOB too, and sells nice t-shirts. Very friendly staff. Look for discounts via Groupon or on their website.

Such a fun amd unique experience! They set you up with fun games to play and the whole time you're being supervised by an employee for safety which made me feel better.Would definitely come here again. Alcohol is allowed here, no hard liquor...not that I would want to drink and throw an axe around, that is a little scary.

A surprisingly great adventure! It was a last minute decision for me to join a few neighbors on their night out to throw some axes and I had no idea what to expect. It was so fun and our hostess was fantastic. We all had a blast and…. We are all pretty great at axe throwing! Who knew!? Haha
