Mum and I came here for dinner and it was amazing!!! There is parking available in the strip but i didn't want to take the risk so I just went valet. I loved the vibes of the restaurant. Comfortable... homely... and just about real good food. Staff are also in casual wear and they were all on top of everything. Though we had the one server ... so many people came to our table which was nice. We sat at a booth but they had us facing the kitchen All the courses were Really tasty that its so hard to choose a favourite. A surprise was the pork with peaches. This is because I usually don't like pork very much except for bacon or pork belly but it was good. The restaurant automatically puts a 20% gratuity on the check but what i did love is that the server told us when he gave us the check and also highlighted it whereas many restaurants I feel try to get away with a sneaky double tip. Would absolutely love to come back!!

Visiting Austin from out of town, I made a reservation at Barley Swine for a small family dinner. WOW. The tasting menu was incredible: stunning visually, absolutely superb tastes, and just the right amount of food to feel full but not stuffed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed, absolutely perfect. I only go for dinner like this on a rare occasion, but it was worthwhile. Highly recommend.

Came here for my anniversary dinner and the food was delicious and there was a variety. The only thing for us was the portions were small and unfortunately we left not full. Especially with the amount one pays here you would want to leave full. We didn’t get any extra sides, just drinks but overall the experience was pleasant.

Food 4/5, People/Service 5/5, Atmosphere 5/5, Price 1/5. I had been a couple of times many years ago, and while it was expensive then, I always thought it was worth it. My recent visit revealed a different kind of expensive I wasn't ready for. While so much of it was great, at the end of the day, the business to consumer relationship is a value exchange. And the value simply wasn't there. Over $400 for two people with two drinks each. I'd spend that for a special occasion where the food ended up being some of the best I've ever had, but it was not that level.

A fantastic and totally unique tasting menu experience. The dishes were delicious and had some of the most intriguing flavors and presentations I have seen in a while. The menu changes monthly, so will definitely be back to try new ones. Service was impeccable, and the staff were excellent. Grab a seat at the Chef's counter for a remarkable experience.

Chef's tasting menu. Seminal experience. Chelsea was an amazing waitress. Lindsey was very warm, kind and we enjoyed our visit. The food was next level. Put this place on your bucket list. The talent in the kitchen is obvious. Elegant, sophisticated, whimsical without being pretentious.

One of the best meals we have had in the US to date. Great friendly service in with a great atmosphere. Highly recommend booking the kitchen counter so you can watch the chef’s do their thing.

Food and service were fantastic. The servers and kitchen staff worked together like a well-oiled machine. The only negative was the forced valet parking. (The lot had plenty of spaces, but they all had cones blocking them and the valet would just move a cone and park your car in that spot.)
