Opened in 2010, Austin Roller Rink became a favorite of locals immediately. Open to all ages during the day they also have Adult Only skate nights every Wednesday and Sunday which are BYOB for those 21 and up. Friday nights are typically the popular time for teenagers and Austin Roller Rink hosts themed nights. They also have an arcade and concession stand.

Love this place for cheap & easy parties. You pay $225 and get a decorated room with 16 skate passes & a free tshirt for the birthday kid!

I went with my friends but I have super bad balance, so since my friend fell on her tailbone, I took my shoes off and was trying to help her on the rink. A worker who was just skating and talking to random people said that I couldn’t do that, despite NO signs being posted about it. He himself was just skating around and seemed so condescending. “Erm you can’t do that!” What if I had a kid and wanted to help them? There’s no readily available or accessible aids. I decided to try to play some arcade games instead but couldn’t because all of the games were out of order! It would just take our money! Literally almost every single game was not working. The boxing game literally had anime girls with boobs out, so probably not good if you have a kid. It was so hot in there and there were portable, so the games are probably not the only thing working! The AC is probably broken too! It got so so hot. The only good thing was that it was cheap to get in, but I guess you get what you’re paying for.

This place is a total dump. What's the appeal? Is there nowhere else to roller skate? First time there attending a birthday party this weekend:

- Maybe the dirtiest place I've been in my life - the old Emo's urine trough was cleaner

- Had about 10 arcade games... but every single one was out of order? Except for one claw machine. But then that one claw machine... the ramp/exit for winning items was blocked by random objects so when my kiddo finally won something... the item got stuck after the claw dropped it. Why even have those games at all? It was weird and confusing.

- Pinballz and pretty much every other arcade experience recently has an electronic payment way to play. This place has ancient machines that only take quarters. Luckily I found a probably 10 year old stash of change in my car - again only to have the one working claw machine be a total scam.

- Staff was not unfriendly... but completely indifferent to anything happening just looking at their phones, etc.

The only positive was a jukebox that played a steady stream of 80s/90s kids nostalgia - which I assume is the only thing keeping this disaster afloat.

We had a blast for Adult Night at Austin Roller Rink last night. SO MUCH FUN!! The feels, the music, the amazing skaters that showed up, it was all so nostalgic. I think we even started a roller gang🤣🥰

OMG.. I HAD A BLAST LAST NIGHT! IY LI8HAS BEEN ABOUT 40YRS SINCE 8VE SKATING, BUT LET ME TELL YOU, I HAVEN'T MISSED A SYEP SINCE THEN. THANX AUSTIN ROLLER RINK FOR BRINGING THE KID OUT IN ME. I WILL RETURN..

I've been back here several times for classes with Stephanie, she's the best! It's a great learning environment with friendly and supportive people, I highly recommend it if you're looking to try something new!

The place was nice but really bad customer service girl in front was rude and no one is never in the snack bar decided to just leave instead.

As expected! Get some skates on and try not to fall! Clean enough bathrooms and other areas. Adult night was not too crowded, and there were folks of all skill levels. Fun little activity for a few hours. And BYOB & food.

Best place ever! Staff is exquisite. Place is very clean and staff is always picking up trash. Staff was also very friendly, helpful and quite beautiful! Great place to skate and hangout with friends :)

I have taken classes with the instructor Stephanie. She is the best! Her class is so fun but also she teach you how to skate in a safe way. I highly recommend her class you will see your progress!

My son received skates for Christmas, and we went here for the first time. When we called to check hours, the customer service was great. We arrived to find the place was staffed by young adults who were professional, VERY engaging with kids and adults, and passionate about skating. The rink is a converted warehouse, but you can't really tell once you're inside. The review loses a star because the floor is rough, which for new skaters might provide better grip and less slipping/falling? Otherwise the vibe was awesome. Staff took time to talk skate brands with us. We will be back soon and often!

Fun safe place to bring the kids, I like that they check everyone's temperature before you get in. They check everyone white, black, or hispanic doesn't matter what race you are no discrimination. They have lockers to rent for only .75 cents music is good nice constipation stand lots of places to sit down when your legs need a break. The restroom was clean and from what I could see the rest of the place was clean.
