April is National Brunch Month. Get in on the celebrations by planning a brunch date for your sweetheart. Austin has several great spots for an incredible brunch. Here are some of our favorite romantic brunch spots.
1) Josephine House~ Blue House Brunch
Josephine House is a perfect spot for a brunch date with your sweetheart to celebrate National Brunch Month. Josephine House serves brunch DAILY. That’s right it’s not just a weekend brunch spot but an always brunch spot. We love the steak and eggs (pictured), lemon ricotta pancakes, and the shrimp and grits. Head to Josephine House (it’s a too cute blue house) for a blissful brunch.
2) Paperboy~ Brilliant Brunching
Paperboy is another perfect spot for a brunch date. Paperboy is all about brunch, which it serves everyday from 8 AM – 2 PM. We love the BEC (pictured), Texas hash, and cheesy grits. You can also grab a cocktail or mocktail to pair with your brunch munch. The cocktails are great but our all-time favorite is the rise & shine mocktail which is both refreshing an packs a little punch to get you going.
3) Waffle Love~ Love at First Bite
You will find some wonderful waffles at Waffle Love. Waffle Love has both sweet and savory waffles for you and your sweetheart to enjoy. For savory, we love the chicken avocado tartine and the breakfast sammy. For sweet, we love the churro dream and the dulce. Waffle Love is great a for a casual brunch date with your waffle loving sweetheart. Waffle Love is open 7 days a week for you to enjoy.
4) Launderette~ Wonderful Weekend Brunching
Launderette has one of the best brunch menus in Austin. We just wish that Launderette served brunch everyday. If you and your sweetheart want to brunch at Launderette, it’s going to have to be a weekend date. We love the pork shoulder hash (pictured), potato latkes (also pictured), zucchini bread, and the everything biscuit. Launderette also has some great brunch cocktails!
5) Honey Moon Spirit Lounge~ Brunch Bliss
Honey Moon Spirit Lounge has a wildly impressive weekend brunch. This is another brunch we wish we could enjoy all week long because there’s just too many great dishes on the brunch menu to enjoy in just 2 days (Saturday and Sunday). We love the smoked salmon benedict (pictured), biscuits & bone marrow gravy, and Seoul hot slapjack. Of course a spirit lounge has some incredible brunch cocktails too. You can’t go wrong with the peach bellini and the build your own bloody always hits the spot.
