I ate there a couple of months ago for the first time. The fish and chips were one of the best I have had. This second trip, not quite as impressive. The serving size of the fish was considerably smaller and lacked the unique flavor that I was so impressed with on my first visit. The smaller fish size seemed to be compensated with a super size quantity of french fries. I was also disappointed that the absolutely delicious Brussel sprouts were no longer on the menu.

Great location and setting, but the beer needs work. I had a flight of four, and would only order one of them again. I love a saison, but theirs tastes like a cider with so much wine added. And their barrel-aged quad was over the top, just not a good brew - and quads are among my favorite beers!

An awesome escape, with great craft beer and better scenery. Lots of wholesome land for the kids to play in. And now, the menu has been upgraded. The burger is astoundingly good!

Will bring your food to your table but not table service. The grounds are a little less maintained than last year and the road has deteriorated. Good beer selection.

Came here for Barks For Beers. Very nice beer lineup. I had an award winning dark pilsner and enjoyed it. I saw other offerings that I found interesting, but with BFB, so many breweries, so little time! I'll have to make the trip down here again on my motorcycle on a nice day. The musical entertainment was very good, too. Recommended.

Awesome hill country spot with great beers and great food. The space inside and outside is absolutely beautiful. They even allowed our dog inside when it was super hot out! There’s a ton of space so it’s great for groups. Just a wonderful place to chill out with a beer outside of Austin city limits.

Food was absolutely delicious. The chili was delicious and wish cornbread was served with it. The burger was also delicious and messy. Be prepared to use lots of towels. Beer and cider were also great.

In lieu of having a wedding reception, we hosted a wedding luncheon for 40 guests at Vista Brewing in the Barrel Room. The staff was welcoming and extremely helpful and the venue was stunning! All of our guest commented on the amazing food. We could not have dreamt up a more perfect location. Thank you to the staff at Vista!

Very impressed by every aspect of Vista! The grounds are gorgeous and their beers are technically perfect and delicious! We got several taster flights so we could try every beer they had on tap and didn’t find a single beer we didn’t like! Also really appreciated their farm forward menu and focus on sustainability and local ingredients. Our dog loved it too!
