Best Italian in Austin! Everything here is freshly made right down to the pasta and bread. Super friendly staff and amazing bartenders! There are always rotating specials on the menu and the staples, such as caccio e pepe, bolognese, and cioppino are all excellent. The mussels are out of this world with a savory and delicious tomato and caper broth. They also have wood fired pizza that you can see being made in the open kitchen. The decor is warm and welcoming with a large main dining area. There is also a wine room, a private diving room for groups, and a cozy bar area. Our favorite place to visit on South Congress. Come on in, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

do not eat or go here. They approved of the homeless man out there that is drunk, playing music and harassing people as they walk by. I said something to the restaurant before and they continue to do nothing.

Why would you want to go to a place that allows that type of behavior to its customers?

We had dinner here while visiting from out of town and it was absolutely the best food we had in Austin and the best Italian food we have ever tasted. Highly recommend the lasagna. In addition to the amazing food, the extensive wine selection is top notch. The service was incredible. There is nothing more to say... We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Very intimate. Reservations recommended. We were in town and walking by at around 4:53pm on a busy Saturday evening. Doors opened at 5pm. We figured we could wait and ask if they could squeeze us in. The line grew long within 10 minutes. At 5pm sharp, doors opened. They were welcoming and very friendly. They graciously accommodated our party of 2. Our server and assistants were courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. They quickly brought a bread basket and wine. We ordered the lasagna (on the spicier side, and very tasty) and shrimp scampi. Delicious, would absolutely eat here again. Bathrooms were a little dark for my taste, but clean from what I could see.

First time and fantastic! Delicious drinks, appetizers and entrees. Wiley was a great waiter. Friendly, knew the menu well and had great recommendations for us. We will be back for sure. Give this place a try!

My wife and i dined for our anniversary. Made res two weeks in advance for Sun 5 pm. Lots of foot traffic outside and parking is limited so we parked in back. Place opens sharply at 5pm. We were greeted nicely and taken to our table and were greeted by Lisette? Wonderful waitress who knew the food, knew the wine and gave us all we asked for. I had Spaghetti Pomodoro and my wife had lasagna. Huge portions. We also tried a cheese pizza that was absolutely delicious. We did not do dessert because we were stuffed. The ambiance and food plus service was exceptional and outstanding. We paid almost one forty for everything. Well worth the price. I would dine there again in a heartbeat because my wife is hard to please. She came away very happy. 👌👌👌
