If you are looking to book a group outing, truly look no further. After considering so many places in Austin, this place made a group outing a BREEZE. Super easy to communicate with, easy to plan and book, BYOB and BYOFood. Really fun game as well. Jacob was very friendly and provided pointers to everyone every step of the way. Awesome event leader and event space. Thank you!
Very cute place serving Texas wines and a discreet selection of TX craft beers and ciders. Bubbles were all by the bottle, but that's fine given how many other choices were available. The atmosphere is all Texas--a very quaint, upclass inside atmosphere but lights and music piped outside on a wooden deck--half-shaded by some real pretty trees and all surrounding the corner of a small-town building that exudes some relationship with history. The staff was ultra-friendly and even had dog treats and a water bowl for our dogs--true class. We'll be back. I hear they're expanding and they often host events such as Backpack Friends, Vets, and others. 5 stars!
I took my partner here for her birthday, and didn't opt for any of the Birthday balloons/extras. Throwing axes is almost always fun, and Urban Axes is a great space to do it. They were extremely accommodating of some of our party being late, and special mention to our coach, Tim, for being understanding, supportive, and gregarious. We had a blast, and are already planning on going back soon!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Our range officer took safety very seriously. He was very informative on the proper techniques and different styles of throwing. We would have stayed longer if we could. I highly recommend coming to Urban Axes if you are looking for a fun experience and great atmosphere! I hope to go back soon.
