This is the kind of restaurant you go to for special occasions. The setting is perfect, the restaurant is gorgeous. But that's about it. The food does not justify its pricing. Expect mediocre execution and unbalanced dishes. We ordered simple, staple dishes - the steak was way overcooked, and the fries had too much truffle oil on them. The beef tartare tasted like it had sat in the fridge for a long time before being served. It wasn't fresh-tasting or seasoned well; it was blunt and, for some reason, served with a hamburger sauce and pre-grated Parmesan cheese. Bottom line: don't come for the food.

Our server, Vanessa, was outstanding. The food was great, and the dessert assortment incredible. The setting and story of Tillie's makes it all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend. We reserved Mr. Kiem's for an engagement party and everything was handled so well. Very pleased.

Oh my... To start, the atmosphere is absolutely stunning. But what really blew me away in this category was the alpacas. And they have names? AND YOU CAN FEED THEM??! Secondly, I booked my reservation maybe ten minutes before I got there (I know, I know, but you cant side eye me harder than I already did myself). BUT, I was absolutely prepared to wait. Fortunately, I didnt have to because I was more than happy to sit at the bar where I met probably the best bartender in the area- Whitney. She was nice, polite, genuine, personable, and more than anything... she was real. She knew her stuff and just by watching her talk and make drinks I could tell she's been in the industry for a loooooong time. Long enough that we started chatting about her latest expirament- a chai margarita? Sounds absolutely out of this world, and I would've loved to try it but it had already sold out by the time I had arrived. Anywho, she asked me what my typical meal was because it was my first time there. So she poured me a glass of wonderful red wine, recommended some appetizers to my palate (portobello fries, 10/10, sauce is a tid bit spicy for my "five year old-like-palate" but equally enjoyable and complimentary to the fry batter), and got me onto the most tender filet Ive had in a hot minute. It sat ontop of creamy mashers, and beside probably the BEST roasted carrots of my life. For dessert, because you MUST treat yourself, she sold me on not one, but TWO of them. A beautiful bread pudding (ive never had it served with chocolate ice cream until now, so my surprise was unexpected), and a fig dessert which, lord help me I can't remember the exact name of it, but, the flavor will remain with me until my final breath. Absolute culinary masterpieces in this wonderfully crafted restaurant served by heaven sent staff. Ten out of ten, will be dreaming of this experience so many times that its Guarenteed to haunt me (in a good way). Sit at the bar. Talk to Whitney and listen to the woman. She knows what you want before you do.

This restaurant is located in a gated venue thats so secluded from Austin. You truly feel you are in the country.this already makes me want to come back and stay the night. The building was so pretty and has a theatrical entrance. Service was so friendly and nice. If i had one complaint it was that it was a little slow at times but it was lunch and a little busy. Everything we ate was delicious. And we sampled alot of the menu. Fried mushrooms... glazed carrots... brussel sprouts.... pastrami sandwich....fish and chips.... roasted chicken... creme caramel and tres leches. The absolute favourite was the mushroom

I love this place the views the buildings the decor. I have taken several friends for lunch and dinner. My birthday was July 7th. My husband asked if tillies is where I wanted to celebrate my birthday. He went to make a reservation and it looked wide open with available seating every 15 minutes so he didn’t make one. When we arrived at 6:40 the gentleman at the hostess stand said we could be seated at a high top or on the patio. All the dinning room tables are not available. So we left. The high tops are in the bar area Most all fine dining establishment list where the seating is when making a reservation. I went back to reservations and again all seating was available every 15 minutes. We went to whiskey ridge and had a wonderful birthday dinner with a table in the dinning area. I felt the gentleman at tillies that helped us was not at all willing to help us out. The food and service can be unreliable. On one of the lunches the waiter forgot to put our order in so after waiting almost 40 minutes we asked if our food was coming. Since I was enjoying my girlfriend’s company I let it go.

Beautiful area and lovely buildings. But the food quality doesn't live up to the expectations, and service is super slow. The scones and orange marmalade are superb, but the tea sandwiches were lacking the quality one would expect given the price. The Llamas made up for a portion of the disappointment though.

My partner and I had our 1st anniversary dinner here. The crab cake, Reuben and smoked Texas bread pudding were delicious. Cocktails were fresh and kept us cool! The restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Thank you for a special evening.

Breakfast at Tillie’s at Camp Lucy was such a lovely experience. The restaurant is absolutely charming, with the cutest llamas outside that make the whole atmosphere feel magical and different from anywhere else. Breakfast was delicious with great quality ingredients, and everything felt fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which made the morning even more enjoyable. Overall, such a beautiful spot for a relaxing breakfast and definitely an experience worth having. 🍀🤩

We had reservations and came a little early, but were seated promptly. Our waitress Carson and trainee, Vincent were very knowledgeable and personal. We had the Dips and spread shareable dish and we shared the Ruben. Both dishes knocked it out of the park! Only suggestion would be, don't pepper the pickles with old bay. Was way too salty. Had the espresso tini, he had the bloody Mary.What a beautiful location and the service was impeccable. We definitely would love to come back before our anniversary or birthdays. What a gem hidden inside camp lucy!

A special building and ambiance for sure. The food however was mediocre. We started with a very tasting Crab Cake, a glass of Tempranillo and Sangria…things were looking great. Then our mains came. I had the Short Rib Pasta. Flavor was great but there were just 3 little pieces of Short Rib in the entire plate. It had to be no more than 2 ounces. My wife had the Fish & Chips. First off, it came in a bowl which made it very hard to eat. Especially since the fish had such hard fried edges it was not easy to cut with a knife. The fish was still moist and flaky but she had to saw the exterior. The Chips though might have been the best we have ever had. A nice crunch but super fluffy inside with a touch of malt vinegar all over. Our server was very nice but he got 5 tables all at once including a large party of 8+. He first ask if I wanted another glass of wine as I was down to my last 2 bites of dinner. We had to ask another person for our check. It just wasn’t upscale dining service but not his fault.

I was invited for high tea with some girlfriends. The service was excellent and so was our server. It’s hard for me to rate the food because I’m honestly never a fan of high tea finger sandwiches. The other girls seemed to like them though. I enjoyed the scones. Not the best I’ve ever had, but they were the good. Their almond cookie green tea was beyond excellent, and that is coming from someone who is a very discerning tea guru. Overall it was a very nice way to spend time with friends.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like a destination rather than just a dinner reservation, Tillie’s absolutely delivers. From the moment you walk in, the space sets the tone, soaring ceilings, warm wood beams, patterned tile floors, and a chandelier that anchors the room with understated elegance. It strikes that rare balance between refined and relaxed, where you can linger without feeling rushed. The experience only builds from there. We started with champagne (beautifully poured, perfectly chilled), followed by Kir Royales that were effortlessly balanced, not overly sweet, just crisp and celebratory. Dinner centered around steaks that were executed exactly as you’d hope: deeply flavorful, expertly cooked, and presented without unnecessary fuss. Simple, confident, and done right. What truly elevated the evening, though, was the hospitality. Seth, the manager, is nothing short of exceptional. Attentive without hovering, warm without being performative, he reads the room and elevates the entire experience in a way that feels natural. You can tell there’s real pride behind the operation. Tillie’s isn’t just a meal, it’s an atmosphere, a rhythm, a place you settle into for the evening. Perfect for a date, a celebration, or simply a night where you want everything to feel considered.

Overall it was a great experience with DELICIOUS food, we got the beef tartar, anglonotti, and smoked porkchop which were all so so good! Bradley did an amazing job at explaining each dish we had questions about and was very knowledgeable overall! My one disappointment was that we went to celebrate my gf birthday and while many of the staff had said happy birthday to her. We saw numerous desserts come out with candles on them for celebrations and I guess I had the hopes she would be celebrated as well. Unfortunately, I was wrong and we did not. Nevertheless, we would return in a heartbeat with how amazing the food and overall service was!

A Unique Hill Country Dining Experience Tiley's at Camp Lucy is a one-of-a-kind dining destination. The restaurant itself is housed in an exotic building that has been meticulously relocated and reassembled, creating a captivating atmosphere. Surrounded by the beauty of the Hill Country, with its rolling hills, creeks, and an abundance of wildlife, the setting is simply breathtaking. Our visit to celebrate a birthday was a memorable one. The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a delightful evening. While the menu is concise, it offers a satisfying variety of dishes. The food was delicious, though the price point is on the higher side. If you're looking for a unique dining experience and appreciate stunning natural surroundings, Tiley's is worth a visit. Even if you're not inclined to splurge on a meal, Camp Lucy itself is a destination worth exploring. Take a leisurely stroll through the grounds, enjoy the scenery, and perhaps spend a day or two at the various accommodations at this beautiful place

Great ambiance and amazing food. Although the menu is small, there is great variety in the dishes being offered. The risotto was the best I have ever had, it wasn’t heavy and had a great balance between smokiness and lightness (from the citrus). Definitely worth a visit

Had the Best time Wednesday night, enjoyed the whole experience. The Staff was great from the moment we walk-in to our server Tristan and Gabbi her assistant the service was spot on and the food was outstanding. From the appetizers to the salads and then the main course, it was an excellent marriage of flavors, leaving our palettes wanting more.... The Chefs made me realize just what it means to have food prepared from scratch, not your ordinary run of the mill meal, this was a full on blend of favors, working so well together. Great job Tillie's Can't wait to come back......

I went on a Monday and they have a light meal, so I had their BBQ brisket sandwich. It was delicious. Talked with the staff and weekends are when they really go all out. Reservations are highly recommended. I will definitely plan on that. Staff were delightful to visit with.

Absolutely wonderful experience! We were celebrating two birthdays, and we were seated at a lovely table in the most gorgeous room. We were welcomed with glasses of champagne upon our arrival and made to feel like princesses! Fabulous food, great service, and an amazing ambience. This is an absolute must if you’re visiting Dripping Springs. Be sure to make reservations!
