This is a beautiful property with an exceptional host! It is convenient to Lake Travis as well as downtown Austin. The accomodations are well maintained and range from a little rustic (cabin with an outdoor shower) to luxurious suites. Laura was easy to work with and very responsive. We utilized several of the recommendations in the guidebook and they were also excellent!

We took our leadership team to The Retreat at Crystal Creek in Austin for three days of annual planning, and we had an incredible time. The facilities are fantastic, with a variety of cabins, casitas, and living options to suit everyone. Laura was an amazing host—responsive, kind, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We happened to be there during a rare snow in Austin, and the hot tub turned out to be the perfect spot for some of the team to relax. If you’re looking for a beautiful, accommodating retreat space, this is it!

The Retreat at Crystal Creek was exceptional, offering a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience. The property features several well-maintained and inviting spaces, providing ample room for both solitude and meaningful group discussions. We particularly appreciated the peaceful areas where we could think or delve into deep conversations after our facilitator departed. These discussions were completely spontaneous and would not have happened if we were in a hotel or public facility.

The owners were incredibly attentive, offering several recommendations for catering and local restaurants, which added to the overall ease of planning. Every area of the retreat was clean and well-kept, reflecting their care and commitment to hospitality.

The surrounding area is wonderfully quiet, and the road was perfect for peaceful morning walks. Its location is ideal—close enough to Austin for us to enjoy evenings in the city but far enough to fully escape the urban hustle. We were fortunate to find this location for our Forum retreat. It was a mix of relaxation and city exploration, The Retreat at Crystal Creek is an excellent choice. We would recommend it to any group seeking a private and accomodating space.

My husband and I attended a couples wellness retreat at The Retreat at Crystal Creek. The location had a beautiful atmosphere. We stayed in one of the Airstreams and it was absolutely perfect. Laura is everything! So sweet and wonderful. She taught yoga every morning overlooking the beautiful view and we got to experience sound bath, breath work and learned so much about ourselves and our energy throughout the trip. Safe to say we will be digging into the yogi life more!

Beautiful with an impressive panoramic view, ideal for a pleasant moment with family and friends and contemplating a sunrise while enjoying a good cup of coffee ☕ contemplating the wonderful things that this beautiful country has to offer to lovers of quietness and the surroundings of nature and the singing of the early birds and the roosters while the Alva appears and the morning coming to life you have no idea what you are missing life is short take some time for yourself tomorrow maybe you won't be able to enjoy 😃👍 Austin will become an architectural wonder at that pace producing passages with beautiful panoramic views

Laura is an excellent host! Service was top notch! The property is amazing and exceeds your expectations! We rented the property to accommodate our family and bridal party for my daughter’s wedding in Austin. We also hosted a rehearsal dinner at this location. All of our guests were so impressed and there was so much to do to keep everyone occupied and having fun. Grounds including pools, putting green, outdoor living space, fishing pond, are impeccable! Both houses, cabins and airstreams were outstanding! We would highly recommend this property for any event!

The concierge services offer multiple activities on and off property for your group. If you want peace and quiet, then relax by the pool and soak in the hot tub!

Recently attended a Social Gathering at the Retreat at Crystal Creek. Absolutely incredible setting with lakeside pool, top of the line grills, plenty of space to roam and relax, and wonderful surprises around every corner. The main house served as the venue for the event and it was perfect ….. chef quality kitchen, spacious full length glass walled view of the huge patio and the lake, and plenty of room for all the guests. In addition to all of that, Laura is absolutely the kindest host imaginable. She always wore a smile and had the perfect answer to any request. Don’t hesitate to book an event at this one of a kind spectacular Austin gem. Better yet, book a stay there with friends and enjoy it all for a few days of relaxation and splendor.

We had the most amazing time at The Retreat at Crystal Creek. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating and this home was the finest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. There was a multitude of activities which included paddle boarding, fishing, lounging by pool or sitting in the hot tub. The amenities and extras were over the top and everything you could possibly need was stocked in the pantry. We will definitely return to this beautiful oasis.
