The BEST chocolate cake I've ever had. My favorite for sure. Also had them bake my son's first birthday cake and cupcakes and they were stunning and tasted the best! Will always come back here!Update: Ordered here again a year later for my son's second! Love love love their work! The best bakery with the best flavors !

Recommended bakery store in Austin for the birthday cakes. Once you enter, you'll be pulled into the cake world. They are open until 7pm. Courteous staff, quick service and must visit while in South Austin or downtown. Happy Cake day

Ordered a “Notorious F.I.G.” cake and it was out of this world! It’s different than any cake we’ve ever had in the best way possible. The honey cake is super moist and the combo of fig, goat cheese and pistachio was so complementary. I didn’t get a pic of the cake beforehand but it was also beautifully decorated. The waitstaff at the restaurant we brought the cake to for dinner were all oo-ing and ah-ing at it. Thank y’all for helping make my husband’s birthday a success!

We got our wedding cake from Sugar Mama's and were SO happy with it. We ended up over-ordering so now we have a lot of frozen cake, and each time we thaw another chunk out we get to relive the memories of that special day. Our flavor choice was chocolate cake with vanilla filling and salted caramel cream cheese icing, and despite me and my partner having slightly different taste preference in cakes, we both fell in love with this combo! The design was beautiful and exactly what we had asked for. 10/10 would use Sugar Mama's any time that we want a cake for any event!

We had a large dessert spread at our wedding--an 8 inch round cake (red velvet with hot chocolate icing and raspberry filling) at the center for our wedding cake, surrounded by tiny pies, lemon bars, pecan bars, cupcakes, brownie bites, and macarons. We have a lot of dietary restrictions among our wedding guests, so we were easily able to provide vegan, gluten-free, and chocolate-free desserts so everyone could enjoy. Everything was delicious and beautiful! Working with everyone at Sugar Mama's was so fun and easy. They really made our special day sweet

I highly recommend Sugar Mamas Bake Shop for your wedding needs. Received outrageous quotes from other recommended sites and was pleasantly surprised by the pricing of Sugar Mamas! Reasonably pricedeasy to work with and so talented. And the cake was delicious! Everyone raved about it! Vanilla cake with salted Carmel buttercream filling for brides cake and red velvet for groom ! Can’t go wrong here! As mother rod the bride it’s so nice when something goes well from start to finish! Thank you!

Sugar Mama's made the most incredible tray of their wonderful treats for my mom's 94th birthday. And it tasted as good as it looks from the cake balls to the individual bars. We couldn't decide which bar was the best. My favorite was their chocolate sheet cake. It was special. However, the carmel bar, frosted coconut with Oreo crust and lemon bars were all close seconds. Mom just loved everything!
