Stonehouse Villa is located in Driftwood and it was created by interior designers who fell in love with the charming community. From the moment you see the fountain entryway, you are instilled with a sense of modern sophistication. Stonehouse Villa is an exclusive manor, highlighted by a collection of solid limestone buildings which have been elevated to reflect its natural surroundings.
One of the best decisions we could have made was to have Samantha as our wedding coordinator. Once we picked a vendor, we could simply forget about them until we had to make specific choices related to them. We could rest easy with all the other coordination. All the vendors who worked with Stonehouse Villa before had only wonderful things to say about her. Whether it was helping us narrow down vendors, helping us through last minute details or managing crises on the day of the wedding, she always had our back.
While we 100% recommend Stonehouse Villa, something that would be great is to be able to use the bridal suites to actually get ready - particularly for the bride and bridesmaids hair and makeup. The constraints on the timings made it impossible to actually get ready in the suites.
In the end, it was idyllic.
The fields are rolling and scattered with cows grazing, the grounds are meticulously maintained and vibrant, and the buildings are comfortable, beautiful, and spacious.
Our event was ~140 people and we were all comfortable, even with a sizable dance floor in their main reception hall. While we had a smaller wedding party, we were also all very comfortable in their readying rooms in the oldest building on the premises.
Beyond this, Kim was easy to work with and offered very clear and concise communications. She and her team were also very patient with questions, changes to the plans, and flexible about rehearsal and the like, which really made all the difference.
All in all, it was our perfect wedding and that's largely due to Stonehouse Villa's look, feel, and space and their staff's customer services skills.
