Management must be the issue. You’ll understand when you read……
We had a reservation and asked for the patio as we were interested in the music. We were shown to a 2 top on a virtually empty patio. When we asked to sit at a 4, we were told she couldn’t accommodate. She was very apologetic (and young, clearly not empowered). It was aggravating because one of us had to sit with our back to the stage. And, when we left, there were several 4 tops empty.
The wine prices were pretty high-they’d just changed the menu. The Pinot Noir I wanted was $18 but I settled for a red blend at $11. It was ok. The crab cakes are garbage, pass on them. The waffle chicken sliders are yummy, as are the dipper fries. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. But the lady who delivered our food dropped several fries in my husband’s beer, which caused him to wear wet shorts and have a sticky arm after drying . There were fries on the ground, in his beer, and several on the table. She picked up the fries off the table and put them back on the plate. I was horrified!
The music was ok but the volume was too low. The stage was very far from the patio and they really need to turn up the volume. Likely not possible as it looked as though the band supplied their own PA system. The disconnect made us feel like having music was an afterthought. Do they know what they’re doing?
I don’t think so. Our bill was over $80 and we received a 10% off coupon for the beer dousing. As I said, the management is not very good. We won’t be back. The discount card bought no favor from my wet husband. Sad, because they spent some coin and the place has great potential.
