I love how they make their own products, from candles to linen sprays, and a bunch of other great stuff. Great if you’re in the market for non toxic products! it has no artificial fragrance, all natural scents. The lady who helped me was super nice and helped me pick out some great stuff.
Looking forward to shopping here again!

This place is great! The shop is beautiful and smells amazing with a knowledgeable and caring staff. All natural candles with a wide variety of essential oils offering unique scent combinations. I took a private candle making class with a group of girlfriends and we had a blast. Our intructor was fantastic and such fun and we all loved the beautiful candles we made! Highly recommend this locally owned small business!!

Slow North is a lovely little store. They have the most divine smelling candles, made with just soy wax and pure essential oils, which is so hard to find most places! The staff in the store are extremely friendly and helpful, plus they have other home goods, too. It’s the perfect place to pick up a gift for someone. They add new scents for each season so it’s always fun to stop in and stock up when the seasons are changing! The candles are beautiful, too. Big fan!

This place is great! There’s so many plastic-free alternatives, and environment- conscious products. The staff is very kind. I learned that they offer classes, too! The aesthetic of this place is clean, and adorable!

Amazing experience, the candles we made turned out beautiful and we’re even eco-friendly. Our instructor was educational, helpful, and full of energy. The class truly is not just making a candle you gain so much knowledge of the craft.

Had such a great time at the candle workshop I attended! We got a good amount of education about the different types of waxes, oils, what blends well, testing all the scent options, etc. This was a fun and intimate experience for a small group of people at the Slow North shop. I feel confident after this workshop that I can go home and make my own candles. Would absolutely do this again and I do recommend it for a fun little friend outing. Also bought an oil blend and beautiful diffusers after the workshop. I intend to come back to this fun shop! They are very intentional with their products and have great customer service.

We did a candle making class here with a group of girlfriends and it was incredible. Carla was so helpful getting things scheduled and Amani have an amazing class. Cannot recommend this small business enough!!!
