⭐️⭐️ Disappointing First Experience at Sawyer & Co.
Today, my wife and I visited Sawyer & Co. for the first time. We drove down from the Georgetown area, so given the distance we traveled, we were really hoping the experience would make the trip worthwhile. Unfortunately, it did not.
The first issue was the parking situation. We drove around the parking lot for approximately 10 minutes trying to find a place to park, and there simply weren’t enough available spaces. This was frustrating before we even made it inside.
Once inside, we waited more than 30 minutes to be seated, this was after a confirmedreservation on Open Table. After being seated, we waited another 15+ minutes before our waitress came to bring us water or take our order. By that point, we already knew exactly what we wanted.
We ordered two breakfast bowls, and unfortunately, both bowls were served cold. My wife's breakfast bowl was particularly disappointing. She found it to be so bad that she couldn't eat it at all, resulting in a complete waste of the meal we had paid for.
Unfortunately, the customer service did not help improve the experience. Our waitress, Erin, was not very welcoming, engaging, or customer-focused. Her overall demeanor came across as very bland and disinterested. This was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had in quite some time.
Overall, we were very disappointed with our first visit to Sawyer & Co. Between the parking, long wait to be seated, additional wait for service, cold food, and poor customer service, the experience simply wasn't worth the long drive from Georgetown.
Hopefully, management will take this feedback seriously and address these issues, because based on our experience today, we would be hesitant to make the trip back.
