I would definitely recommend for long term renters. It seems like it's near a safe neighborhood, quiet, and clean.I don't recommend for a fun getaway. The tiktok I saw about this place really ramped up the fun factor. The pool was broken and the pond was low. That didn't leave much for us to do with a 7 year old. The office even forgot to leave our welcome packet in the mailbox like they said they would, even after I called to let them know we would arrive after 5pm. The confirmation email says trash pickup at the curb in the morning which never happen either. Probably won't be back for what we got.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Open Air Rv Resort in Spicewood :) My husband and I stayed here for a month. We love the location as we have good friends in the area. The rolling hills and sunsets are gorgeous. The local nearby market on Sundays, the Pedernales Market, is so amazing. Get the dumplings! The park was quiet and relaxed. We enjoyed the amenities and vibe. It was overall a really lovely stay and we will be staying here again!

We were told they are under new management, which they are, and that they really turned the park around, which they have not. The pond is disgusting, there are burrs and goat heads everywhere. My dog couldn't even walk around. The water from their connection sprayed everywhere. I had to put a garbage bag over it and just fill my fresh water tank so we didn't flood.I have to say the new management is great and knows the issues. I feel they want to build a small home community versus an RV park. They are friendly and the club house and pool area are immaculate.I wouldn't stay due to the burrs and goat heads literally everywhere, but hopefully they upgrade it and make this place what it really can be.

We recently stayed here - the Minty. The camper was cute and spacious. The amenities were awesome! We loved the lounge with board/card games, the outdoor area with cornhole and bochie ball, and the pool with huge umbrellas for shade. The owner/manager/service was very nice and helpful. The beds are firm, but the rest of the experience makes up for it. We also liked the location - 25 minutes from Marble Falls which was great for shopping and wine/cheese tasting. We will definitely be returning!

Great place. This is the second time we've stayed here. The pool is clean, and and the landscaping is nice. We loved playing on the playground, pickleball court, and in the volleyball court! Clean and fresh showers! There's a cute pond to hang out at, but I wouldn't really fish there. Loved the trees and fire pits in our site.

We stayed in one of the refurbished 50's RV's and had a fun time. The RV was really well done and very clean. Would recommend a stay here.

Open Air Resort in Spicewood is amazing! Our kids enjoyed the pool, playground, fishing pond, and friends. We stayed from April until the end of November and after being full time rv'ers for 1 year, it was great to spend some time in this peaceful amazing park not so far from Austin, TX. They fill up your propane tanks and pick up the trash every day. People working at the office are very nice and always ready to help you if need be. Thank you people of Open Air! You made our trip amazing!

Nice place close to Austin though a feel of being in the country. The camper sites are large enough to have some privacy and it's fairly quiet. Our family enjoyed the pool tremendously. Right outside of it are a volleyball court, pickle court and playground. In the pool area there are also bocce ball and bean bag toss though the Astro turf was too hot to be on in the middle of the day. The adults enjoyed sitting at the pond in the evening.
