We had Chef Mike cook on our girls trip. We had a party of 10 and the meal was excellent! The Brie and bacon wrapped shrimp followed by Beef Tenderloin was amazing! Highly recommend. Mike was fun, professional and patient as we took our time.

Chef Mike is amazing! I am a manager at an apartment complex and we have used his services for our annual crawfish boil 2 years in a row- I can't say enough how great his service is, not to mention the food! The entire process, from planning to execution, is nothing less than professional and easy. Mike makes the experience personal and fun for everyone involved, and all our residents raved about how good the food is. I highly recommend choosing NOLA Kitchen!

We signed up for two of Chef Mikes experiences: a 2-stop winery tour on Saturday, and a Southwestern dinner at home on Sunday. We had such a great time this weekend thanks to him! The dinner at home was delicious and both wineries he recommended had really nice wines. Highly recommended!

Chef Mike came the lake house we rented for a 40th birthday girl’s trip. Chef Mike was friendly, professional, and on time. Most importantly, his food was wonderful. He chatted with us, but also allowed us privacy. He was open to all modifications I suggested for our personalized menu. Would do again in a heart beat!

We wanted to host a crawfish boil for our ten year anniversary despite having very little experience with crawfish boils, so just through a google search found Chef Mike. What a lucky google search! He was great in answering some of my silly questions about how to set up for the party (do we need plates? Do we stand, do we sit? etc)Then when he came to the house to set up he was so laid back but also right to business.The food was excellent. My foody friend from Baton Rouge was in town and she gave it 5 stars, and of course everyone else loved it too.

Chef Mike came out to our rental house both Friday and Saturday. Friday was an amazing 5 course creole/Cajun meal, and Saturday a crawfish boil. What really set the experience over the top was the banter between Chef Mike and everyone. He didn’t just come in, cook, then leave. He stopped and took the time to educate us on his roots and what his cooking was all about. You can tell he’s extremely passionate about his food. It really added a whole new level to the experience. I’ll be hitting him up next time I’m in the area!

Being from Louisiana, I am always skeptical of anyone that lives in Texas trying to cook "our" food . Well...Chef Mike exceeded my expectations. He cooked Crawfish Etouffee and Bread Pudding with a Bourbon Sauce for a group of my clients and friends. His food is authentic and amazing and his New Orleans accent and personality shine through while he is cooking. I have also attended several crawfish boils that he has catered and I was impressed with each one. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
