For being a new jazz club, this place certainly has it together! Fantastic musicians, immaculate swanky vibes, affordable, and easily accessible. Love this place, and happy to see the Austin jazz scene thriving again, thanks to clubs like this!

Newly found place! We really like this place. It was clean, inviting and cozy. The band was great and the servers very attentive. Their drinks were awesome and strong. We will definitely be back.

Finally got the chance to check this place out last night, and it did not disappoint. It’s an incredible spot to unwind and enjoy some truly great jazz. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, and both the service and drinks were exceptional. The cocktails are creative, unique, and absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

This is a great new find! The music and mood were exactly what we were looking for. Drinks were yummy especially the dirty martini - it was buttery and smooth. We’re coming back soon.

11/8/25 Update: And we did. Another enchanting date night at Nica’s. The Sentimental Mood cocktail is quite good. We had another lovely evening. They even offered a small, tasty surprise on the house. Thank you! 😉👌🏼

My girlfriend and I stopped by Nica on 4th on November 7th after dinner just to check it out—and we were pleasantly surprised! The jazz band was excellent, the drinks were spot-on, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone working there seemed happy, friendly, and very attentive. You can tell they take pride in what they do.

Next time we’re back in town, we’ll definitely be returning. Great music, great vibe, great place!

Went during the opening weekend when it was still 100% walk-in (reservations now open). Had a great experience with good cocktails and live music! Staff was very friendly and service was quick. There is a cover charge that is added on to your bill, but they let you know that upon entrance.

Live jazz music from real jazz musicians (curated by and from Parker Jazz Club / Elephant Room) in a relaxed, but elegant, environment. This isn’t a jazz show like it is at Parker, it’s a jazz lounge. Classic cocktails and wine to accompany a lovely evening.
If you want to see the full jazz band, you’ll need to wait until they’re done playing whatever show is happening next door at Parker Jazz Club.
