The rooms are very nice. Large campfires and night. The Ax throwing games were a lot of fun. Way out in the boonies which may or may not be a plus for you.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Lucky Arrow Retreat and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We stayed in a Courtyard Cabin, which was comfortable and well-designed. Jennifer at the front desk was super friendly and made check-in easy, giving us a great overview of the property. The welcome margaritas were next level—some of the best I’ve had! There was plenty to do, and I wish we had stayed an extra night. The hot tub was a great way to relax, and the axe throwing, firepits, and arcade games kept us entertained. We’re really looking forward to the restaurant opening and are already planning a return trip—this time with friends.Definitely a place worth coming back to!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lucky Arrow Retreat, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional service, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of the hill country. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the little touches, like complimentary smores. The resort amenities were top-notch. Location-wise, Lucky Arrow Retreat is perfectly situated. It’s a short drive to Dripping Springs Distillery and downtown (Mercer St), making it easy to explore the area.Overall, I highly recommend Lucky Arrow Retreat to anyone visiting the city. I can't wait to return!

We recently visited Lucky Arrow Retreat with four kids, a total of six of us. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the quiet and clean environment, which made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The kids had an amazing time playing in the pool all day, and their laughter filled the air. In the evening, we gathered around for some fun with the board games provided, which added a lot of joy to our stay. What stood out the most was the kindness of the staff- David. He was incredibly accommodating, responded to our requests promptly, and treated our kids with such warmth and friendliness—it truly made our trip special.Lucky Arrow Retreat is the perfect destination for families, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and fun getaway. We’ll definitely be visiting again

More like unlucky. My friends went here for their anniversary and it was abhorrent. Within the first hour there was sewage issues and they called a plumber who didn’t arrive until hours later. An alternative cabin was given however the maids thought my friend’s belongings were left behind in the original cabin and put it in trash bags! The coupon cash and “complimentary bar” that was given for the previous grievances also conveniently disappeared or was thrown away. The sad excuse for the cabana was a table with a cheap umbrella. The last straw was they paid for the romantic package which included plastic carnation petals and room temperature champagne, seriously?! Save yourself the 700 bucks, it’s not worth it. I was shocked when I saw the high reviews. It was miserable for them and I wouldn’t wish that horror story on anyone so I felt compelled to warn everyone.

First off, I absolutely would come back. This was so much better than getting a hotel. The cabin I had was so lovely, and I loved the pool area. There are the usual amenities you would find in a nice hotel or inn. Don't miss out on the lookout first thing in the morning for pictures. The winery next door had options for both beer and wine. A few things to note, if you are staying in the cabins closer to the gate, you will need to drive to the pool if it's hot out, my shower head was missing (could still take a shower), and get groceries for the fridge. The nearby restaurant options are limited.

Wow! Stayed in a safari tent—which ended up definitely being the most advanced "tent" I've ever stayed in. The roof is canvas, but it's got walls, air conditioning, and an awesome claw-foot bathtub. Fun feel of "camping", but with all the amenities. And let me tell you about the pools (yes, two) on site, they were awesome! Made the hot days feel downright cool. Will be back again for sure.

This place is so awesome, it could be a destination of its own! We stayed in a Courtyard Cabin. It was well-appointed, with a shared hot-tub, picnic area, and fire pit that was so relaxing. The Hill Country setting is beautiful. They are currently doing some construction/expansion, but you don't really feel it - the completed areas are awesome, and you can see that their new additions will be just as great! The pool area was very resort-like, a multi-level layout that made great use of the hillside with two different spa-type pools, a lawn for bean-bag toss, and a rec building with seating, bar area, and games. Our family enjoyed the heated outdoor lower pool, a perfect way to unwind. From our cabin, a short trail led to the Bell Springs Winery & Brewery next door, where we enjoyed food and drinks on their beautiful property, so convenient! I would recommend this place to anyone - and it looks like it's only going to get even better with their new construction!

What a great experience! We had booked a stay in the Breezeway Cabin for my wife's birthday but due to a family emergency, we had to move the trip back a week. The team at Lucky Arrow rescheduled us immediately with no issue, which was greatly appreciated. The cabin itself is fantastic. Well appointed, comfortable and feels very high end. Having our own hot tub and fireplace made it feel that little be more special. We would recommend Lucky Arrow to anyone looking for a unique experience in the Hill Country!

We absolutely loved our stay in the yurt at Lucky Arrow. The grounds were very well kept (even while being under construction), the bath house is clean and stocked with towels, and our accommodations in the yurt were great! The buildings are spread out enough so that we felt like the only ones there. Being able to walk to Bell Spring winery was also a huge bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

We celebrated my husbands 40th birthday here with friends that are like family and had the best time. One of our hot tubs didn’t work but other than that it was smooth sailing. We enjoyed all the amenities especially the beer garden area. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely come back. Staff members were helpful and sweet especially Serena and the gentleman giving out drinks during the happy hour. Thanks Lucky retreat for an amazing weekend!

What a great place! It’s sure not your typical hotel stay which we loved. Our cabin was beautiful and cozy and super clean. Enjoyed the large bathroom and bathrobes provided. The fire pits were all ready to use as was the hot tub. They called it continental breakfast but it was so much better than that. We hope to come when it’s warmer so we can relax by the fabulous pool and use the game room. It’s really a nice place to relax and kick back and enjoy nature!! Thanks for a great time.
