The whole ride was relaxing from the start. You cruise along Lady Bird Lake while the guide shares fun facts about the city, the skyline, and local spots. It’s such a different way to see Austin, especially as the sun starts setting and everything slowly transitions into nighttime.
The highlight, of course, was going under Congress Avenue Bridge to watch the bats. The timing felt so precise, and when they finally started flying out, it was honestly surreal. Thousands of bats filling the sky all at once… something you really have to see in person.
The entire experience was smooth, well-organized, and just really enjoyable from beginning to end.
