We were in Austin for a work trip. A few of us, makes crowd went in for a drink and to play pool. When I say mix as in mixed races... When we got inside the entire bar turned around and was giving us weird looks like we were out of place completely. We did not get the same vibe from the servers and the bartenders though, they were cool and very hospitable. We still decided to hang for a little bit, we play some pool as well as had a couple of beers. The lounge area where you sit is pretty cute and can accommodate a good size amount of people. It was about seven of us. We had a great time

Love this place! They've always got the best stuff on TV and treats for my dog. Cocktails are on point and the vibe is super relaxed. It's also a great place to take first dates - the folks behind the bar are committed to making LD a safe space for women, so if for any reason that date goes sideways I always know I have watchful allies behind the bar. The staff is fun to hang out with and very friendly - Snake and all the gals working there are fantastic! Sometimes there's a Tarot reader there, too - if you see Winona Catherine set up at the couch, I highly recommend getting your cards read!

one time i came here for my friend’s birthday and she brought balloons even tho i’m scared of them (and actually, i wasn’t even the only one who was scared) and ALSO she even put up the ones w the material that scares me more. but i was brave and, anyway, she even said she won’t bring them again. so yeah i’m back, but

They have this incredible funny and attractive beefcake host bingo monthly and you can win free bolo ties! They also have tons of other great events and one of the best bar staffs in town. Great pizza and pretzels served late too!

I am enamored with the place! My first visit was in '22 and was pleasantly surprised. They were featuring the '86 flick, 'The Fly' on the tube, and it was so awesome! Very nastalgic. Also, I'm not a drinker, so it's always great that the bar tenders don't pressure me to drink. They always checked in on me and my friend regardless. I appreciate their stance on the inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community. Oh!! I have to mention that they serve the most delish pretzels 😋! Also, I didn't try it, but their pizza looks pretty good, too. This gem is my friend's and my spot. Definitely on my top 5 for bars in Austin.
