Had such a great experience with Landfall Sailing and #1 Captain Bruce! I had researched other sailing companies on Travis Lake. Landfall Sailing were the most helpful and reasonable. They also made great recommendations for both hotels & restaurants in the area. I let him know it was my Birthday. When we arrived the sailboat was pristine, sails up and added a nice touch w/ a colorful HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAIL too. After Bruce went over the sailboat features & safety, we were off. They provide snacks & courtesy photos. Captain Bruce professionalism, good spirits and attention to detail made the sail UNFORGETTABLE> All the ladies were impressed. Highly recommend Landfall Sailing! You will not be disappointed. I'll be back.

I wanted to charter a sailboat to propose to my girlfriend. Bruce was very accommodating throughout the evening. He helped us stow away a photographer, worked with her for good lighting and background, and even held a lamp for her. I can’t recommend Bruce enough and am grateful for the big part he played in making our engagement perfect.

We had an amazing time sailing with Bruce!After greeting us with a big smile, Bruce seemed excited to give us a safety briefing and show us his sailboat. He was very professional, and the sailboat was well-appointed, stocked with light snacks and soft drinks, and very clean. I was happy about the spacious cabin where I could lie down on a queen-sized bed if I felt like it. I didn’t know at the time that Bruce was about to spark my interest in sailing.Bruce accommodated every request we had, and was happy to teach as we sailed, all while keeping us safe. When we came back to dock, I left not only knowing that I would engage his services again, but also that I made a new friend.

Had an amazing sunset cruise with our skipper Bruce from Landfall Sailing! Bruce was very knowledgeable, friendly, and great with my 10 year old son letting him “help”. I booked it for my dads 60th birthday and we had a evening full of wonderful memories! Bruce was a great and fast communicator before the sail whenever I had questions which was awesome! Highly recommend Landfall Sailing and would do it a million more times!

I completed my NauticEd skipper large keelboat tasks with Bruce over a period of a couple days and wow, the man knows his stuff. If you are even remotely interested in sailing, Bruce tailors his instruction to your specific skill level and makes you feel safe and comfortable at all times. Highly recommend!

We had a party of 4 and Bruce was such a great host and captain. Very knowledgeable and great photographer as a bonus. The boat is very well maintained and clean and Bruce did a great job of getting us settled in and out on the water. The four of us thoroughly enjoy the sunset sail and look forward to getting back out on the water with Bruce soon!

I wish I could rate this 6 Stars! I booked with another Lake Travis Sailing Charter...one i have used in the past which they ended up double booking me and notified me pretty last minute. Not very happy about that i was frantically trying to find a last minute plan B. I had a special date that evening, so scheduling and planning took some effort for the day/evening we wanted. (This particular day had a full moon) I called Landfall Sailing (I called others who did not answer and i sure am glad they didn't!) Bruce took my call and upon me describing what happened he was at first not available as he was taking that day off because he had a group the very next morning. We got to chatting as i'm also trying to become a sailor and he heard my story he made special arrangements with his schedule to accommodate ours. The evening was perfect, his 33' boat is beautiful and well equipped, he was the right amount of engaging host and fun to be around. I will be using Landfall Sailing and recommenced him to anyone i know looking. I'll also be taking sailing classes with him in the near future. Bruce is a very experienced sailor and a gentlemen. Thank you Bruce!
