Made the happy hour on a Thursday. At 4:45 the line was out the door. Reservations are suggested. We had the margaritas. Carnitas tacos, chicken tacos, cachetada, and guacamole. The 4 salsas were all good. Everything was great, but we thought the carnitas were slightly better than the chicken. A cachetada is like a quesadilla with one flour tortilla instead of 2. Still excellent. Lots of after work parties.

Amazing! Place has only been open 4 days and they seem like pros. Warm welcome from the host stand, friendle engaged bar staff, well executed food which will get even better with time. Standouts, al pastor tacos, salsas and the Tres Leches was amazing!! Staff was accommodating and friendly. Great upbeat vibe out of downtown. Treat yourself and check it out!

This was an unexpected delight. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. Slightly upscale, but not fussy. The visual presentation was perfect, outdone only by the flavors. We had the Al Pastor Enchiladas and the Chicken Mole Enchiladas. I’d definitely recommend both of those. The salsa tray with the description of the various flavors was particularly delightful. Churros for dessert… with both caramel and chocolate hazelnut dipping sauce. Yum!We’re only going to be in Austin for the rest of the week, but we’re planning to go back.
