Stepping into this retro ambience diner felt like a time warp, but the real gem here is Sam, the bartender/barista. She's a captivating mix of beauty, charm, and sweetness, effortlessly making every guest feel like an old friend. She served up a perfect latte with honey that was unforgettable. This place has an allure that’s hard to resist. It’s connected to the renowned Austin motel, and wandering through both the restaurant and the motel grounds was a treat in itself. This spot is rich with character and charm.

We drove down to South Congress to check out a new billboard (BPNSupps) and decided to try Joann’s. Have heard great things and they did not disappoint. Food was great. Good variety and definitely elevated diner favorites.

This place looks great and friendly, but when I asked for a tequila sunrise, they could not make it. So I asked for a tequila and orange they gave me juice. I couldn't taste the tequila. If the quality of their food is like their drinks. Not the right place.

Had a great waiter, Ethan. The food and drinks were amazing. I highly suggest the Barbacoa Plate. I ordered the Red Mole Chicken Thighs, it was good too although I think some Fresca cheese on the massaged kale or rice would have set it off. The tortillas and chips were the best I’ve had in a long time if not ever. I had two drinks, both were delicious - worth going for the drinks alone. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Had an incredibly delicious Sunday brunch at Colleen’s kitchen. We had the Austin Lager from Twisted Brewing Company and Heavens to Betsy gin cocktail…so refreshing and delicious!! The food was top notch & unbelievably delicious….10/10 on taste, presentation, ambiance & service. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more for some good southern food on your next outing or celebration!!! Don’t forget to make reservations.

Loved my meal at Joann's. I was a fan of the patty melt, might be one of the best ones I've ever had. You also need to order the biscuits, they'll take up a chunk of your appetite but they are so worth it! We also tried the grilled shrimp entree and were pleasantly surprised by the combination. All in all, a great dinner!
