Have been a loyal fan since they started but haven't made it out to the brewery in several years. Highly disappointed by the service we received last week. Took over 10 minutes to get two beers, both came out warm and the order was wrong.

The goats are the best part... and the beer is a close second!

A totally unique hill country brewery experience! I’ve been coming here since they opened, and the brewery continues to evolve and progress, with their North Star being their Belgian-inspired spon and coolship fermentation.

They also offer elite IPAs and pilsners for those who aren’t into sours. Go give Sasha a pet!

This place is such a gem. The beer is amazing, and the hibiscus tea was absolutely delicious as well. The property is beautiful, with plenty of open space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The play area is fantastic for kids, making it a great spot for families. Despite being popular, it feels calm, peaceful, and never crowded. Whether you're coming for the drinks, the atmosphere, or a relaxing afternoon outdoors, this place is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!

Loved this place. We visited Saturday am for the goat yoga (which is a good for the soul type of experience) and then stayed for some bevvies and pizza. The lemon pizza was amazing; it never occurred to me to put lemon on a pizza but this just worked. Prettiest pizza I’ve ever seen. Great ambiance with a country band playing and loads of space.

Beer was delicious and that’s the important part! We went on a very busy day, Doomfordge. Probably would have been a better experience on a regular day. Long lines for beer. They offered a very good deal, pay about $30 and get a glass and 8? 8 oz pours! Very good deal but it would require standing in line for hours to get 8 beers.
Seeing and petting the goats was fun but paying a fee to get in the goat pen seems wrong.
Very good beer is why you drive out to this brewery.

We visited this brewery a bit later in the evening on a Saturday. There was live music, and the space itself is very large and open. It seems like a very family-friendly place there’s a big play area, and we saw several families still there with their kids playing, although many were starting to head out as the sun was setting.

Because we arrived later, it wasn’t very crowded. A live band was playing, but there weren’t many people gathered around at that point. I imagine the atmosphere might feel more lively earlier in the day.

The beer we tried was really good, definitely recommend it. The burger was honestly spectacular and a highlight of the visit.

Overall, I would recommend checking this place out for a relaxed and enjoyable time. Next time, we’d probably go earlier in the day to experience more of the daytime vibe.

AWESOME PLACE! My husband and I have been wanting to come out here for years, and we finally made it with dog and toddler in-hand. This place is so cool! Quiet countryside with plenty of space to really space out- my favorite!

There's a kids playground area, tables in a field, tables in the beer garden under the shade of trees, and tables "inside" a long barn that has live music and TVs (and heaters). The whole place is dog friendly and just friendly. There is a goat barn which you can do a walk with them, but no one seemed to be doing it on the day we came.

It's a paradise whether you have kids, dogs, or not. 50/50 shade for the summers but on beautiful days it's the perfect setting!

Now the beer- amazing!! All of it! The IPAs really hone in on the flavors and not the bite. I would say they're beautiful IPAs- they do it right.

We will definitely suggest this place to all of our friends and family and plan to come back!

Cool spot with lots of options for drinks, they also have an area to see goats and get pizza.

You can pay to go into the gates with the goats as well

They have nice collection of beers, they have oven baked pizza. A barn filled with livestock. The hike was great around the brewery

Huge farm/brewery. Lots of space for the kids to run around. Beer selection is alright, but food is out of this world. This is the place to go with a large group and spend the afternoon enjoying the sun and some beers.

We absolutely loved our experience celebrating our wedding at The Hall at Jester King. Their open-air barn and wood grove was the perfect venue to showcase the natural beauty of the Hill Country in a casual and fun setting. Taylor is such a pro and filled me with confidence and ease from day 1. Myrna and the JK team did a fabulous job on the day and we heard so many positive reviews of the food. The menu’s blend of barbecue and farm-to-table seasonality was a great intro to the Austin food scene for all of our out-of-town guests. And, of course, the beer was fantastic, my dad was so impressed with their wine options, and our guests loved their specialty cocktails. Plus, the surprise goat visit during cocktail hour was such a blast for our guests and definitely provided my favorite photo of the day. My husband and I look forward to building many more memories with Jester King over the years to come!

This is a fun spot to bring a date, a family, or small group of friends on a weekend day. The Beer selection changes daily but you can always be guaranteed a good selection of styles will be available. They also have a great pizza place on site. Be prepared to wait in line for a while to get your beer. Everyone tends to linger at the bar with questions and general beer related discussions with the tenders. Also if you order pizza be prepared to wait longer than you may want to get it, the wait is worth it though. While waiting for that pizza you can check out the extensive grounds and tour the brewery. They have large fields for families to play, plenty of people around kicking balls or tossing frisbees. There is also a very large beer hall and plenty of picnic tables scattered throughout the complex. They often have live music playing as well, which is always a plus! If you are looking to have a Spring outdoor outing, or you have folks in from another town, this is a good place to give them a feel for Texas country life, especially if your friends are beer aficionados.
