Gorgeous views. Old Italian countryside decor. Rooms lack a sense of awe but are spacious. Food and wine were delicious!

My wife loved every minute of it. We’re already planning to celebrate her birthday next month at this same place.

Pool is super kid friendly and staff were always looking for ways to make the experience even better and easier.

Traveling to downtown Austin is only 15 mins away and convenient at every level. The views are amazing and the Hummingbird suite was perfect for our family.

My gal pal and I came in for a girls day at the Spa and Tiffany made the experience a dream come true. The spa is luxurious and an easeful paradise!

The hotel is secluded into the wilderness with a winding road to it. The front door workers are nice and knowledgeable. With each turn into the hotel, you feel more like a king. This hotel is very professional, proper, and friendly. Great stay! Floor 2 has all of the amenities. And sometimes you can hear some coyotes at night, so do not wander off. Enjoy your stay!

This Hotel is a gem!
If you meet Chris at the front desk, you will be meeting the most accomondating, friendliest and joyful person. All of the staff at the Hotel are simply amazing. My wife and i love our stay and would return simply for the service aspect.
The Hotel itself is beautiful, has everything one can need, from laundry service, to a good fitness gym as well as a very nice and clean pool!

Had a great stay here! Very nice hotel, the restaurant has great food options (vegan and vegetarian), was fairly priced, had great service and had great hours. The rooms are very nice, the bathroom and in particular the showers are very spacious. Also features some nice views and some great amenities (spa, fitness center, pool etc). The hospitality was also awesome and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay!

We have always loved this hotel! Now known as the Hotel Viata, and freshly renovated, it is modern, with a grand Italian cozy feel.

We took the kids for the yearly tree Christmas lighting and it was incredible!

It was beautifully decorated, the tree was in the courtyard and they brought in a choir, served cookies, hot cocoa and Christmas cocktails! The lighting ceremony began with Santa coming out and lighting the tree!

What more can you ask for? Tree, cookies, hot cocoa and pictures with Santa! It was truly a magical event for families with kids of all ages.

The staff was friendly, kind and even went out of the way to make it a wonderful event for all their guests! It reminded us of how much we love this hotel. So, we’re making plans to stay there for our anniversary!

Have you stopped by the Hotel Viata recently? I suggest making a reservation for dinner or going for cocktails and staying the night! Maybe even making an appointment to try their new spa on the premises. You’ll definitely be relaxed and ready to get back to life after that.

Me and my Spouse got married here in October and it was wonderful. The outdoor ceremony was terrific and the staff was attentive to every need. The food was AMAZING and our guests raved about the food and specialty cocktails. The only qualm was with the event coordinator turnover during the planning process; however, we managed to get the room blocks figured out. Gorgeous venue to stay and host an event.

My husband and I had an amazing time at this hotel. It is pulled back enough form the city center to give you rolling hill country views and quiet, but you can easily access town without using toll roads within 19-20 minutes. The staff is truly kind and will do whatever they can to make your stay special. We went for our wedding anniversary and my birthday.

Rooms and decor we and very elegant, and they recently finished a remodel. The spa was not open yet when we were there, but there is the spa, ample outdoor sitting spaces, clean updated gym, complementary bottle of wine and two water bottles, on site bar/coffee bar and restaurant. Restaurant was overpriced in my opinion, so we drove to 4 minutes to Kirby Lane for breakfast in the mornings.

We got a late checkout to enjoy more time sitting around the hotel. Definitely recommend for couples, singles, weddings, and older adults. Not a good fit for kids though in my opinion.

First time to Austin, we wanted to stay on the west side of the city so we could be close to hill country and away from the traffic - and the Granduca delivered! Recently renovated (like just reopened fully 2 days ago) the place is beautiful! We got the junior suite which was very spacious and homey. The pool is very private and surrounded by trees. The Laurel was so good we had dinner there two nights in a row! But most importantly, the entire staff was very friendly and helpful - they went out of their way to make sure we had a good time. If we come back to Austin, which we will most likely in the spring for the flowers, we will definitely come back!
