I planned a corporate offsite for my company which took place at Hotel Van Zandt over the course of a week. My team's experience at the hotel was spectacular. So many guests, including myself, raved about the quality of the food, service, amenities, and rooms. I would 100% plan future events here and recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

Hotel Van Zandt was a fantastic place to stay. Our family felt welcome from the very start at check in, and that continued with every single member of the staff that we interacted with. The front desk service was top notch and always willing to take time to help us out with all our questions about the hotel and area (and the daily complimentary margaritas went a long way too).

The bartenders and waitstaff at Geraldine's remembered and greeted my family each day during our three night stay and fed us delicious food and drinks morning and evening. We loved getting to stay after dinner for the live music every night.

The folks at the pool served up great cocktails and chatted with us about fun things to do in Austin and some of their favorite places to eat. And Peter at the front door helped us get loaded up and where we needed to be each day with a friendly greeting and smile.

Our two bed suite room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable for three of us to hang out during our time in the room together. The location on the river allowed us a short walk to Congress bridge in the evening to see a beautiful sunset and the iconic bat flight, and we had easy access to all the other places downtown we needed to get to during our stay. We would certainly choose to stay at Hotel Van Zandt again for a future trip to downtown Austin.

Great hotel in downtown Austin for work or fun getaway. Hotel bar and upstairs bar/restaurant so much fun! Logan at the Valet was amazing and offered the best customer service! Definitely will be returning!

Perfect location near the riverfront and popular Rainey Street bars, music, and restaurants. The hotel has a lot of character and each space is its own music-inspired vibe. They have free margaritas upon check-in, and a whole vinyl record library that you can borrow to listen to on your in-room record player. Excellent on-site dining options (but FYI they are not open for lunch). The staff is friendly and accommodating.

This is such a unique and nice hotel for Austin! The location is perfect and the rooms were very clean. I highly recommend staying at this hotel and will definitely come back!

Hotel Van Zandt Was by far the best hotel stay I’ve had ! From the service walking in to the clean and spacious rooms. Close to the night life and also has eating and drinking availability inside the hotel with a heated pool. Free DELICIOUS Margaritas upon arrival and I mean delicious I do not drink margaritas but I found myself going for another . I definitely recommended it to all my family and friends and will most definitely be back again ! Amazing staff ! Amazing service ! Amazing everything ! Even had a nail shop 7 min from the hotel which was amazing !! And can’t forget coyote ugly 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Highly recommend Hotel Van Zandt — it’s a beautiful space with the best staff. Everyone is so kind and want to ensure you enjoy your stay. The concierge’s guide is really cool, we checked out a couple of recommendations and they did not disappoint! Coffee and food offerings were great too! The daily happy hour was the best. Will stay here again the next time we’re in Austin!

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. All the receptionists took time to make us feel special, give us recommendations for food in the area. Most of all, the staff helped us with billing for the stay as we had a difficult scenario splitting a room and needing to have it finalized a certain way for reimbursement.

The doormen helping us with our luggage when we arrived and opening doors for us was a very nice touch. The entire building is clean and smells fantastic. The location is also unbeatable. Also, the daily happy hour was something we looked forward to every day!! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Austin.

I just stayed here on a business trip. It was my first visit and it was truly outstanding. The hotel is very well appointed, in a great neighborhood and close to many great restaurants. The hotel is full of wonderful art and the food and service were excellent. We held our meetings in a sunny, library type space on the second floor. It was beautiful , comfortable and very conducive to a full day of collaboration. The AV equipment and support were top notch.
It was nice to be in an atmosphere that both enabled productivity and was also relaxing and even inspirational.
Nam took very good care of our team all day and made us feel like truly valued guests.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for vacation or business meetings and i hope to return soon.

I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE HERE!! Haley at the front desk was kindest and was such a warm presence to welcome us! She made our stay so enjoyable! The cafe in the lobby has great pastries and coffee and the restaurant’s breakfast was DELICIOUS! We truly felt welcomed and cared for! Not to mention the location was so perfect for our festivites! We thought it was going to be loud since we were so close to the bars but it was shockingly not bad at all! We will definitely be back!

I stayed at this hotel December 2020 with my family. I am a platinum member and they were generous to give me an upgrade to junior suite and late check out. Staff were very nice. I remember that we had free beer in happy hour at the lobby. Room was very comfortable and spacious for 3 of us. It is very close to the lake so you can go for a walk easily. We had a good time in this hotel. This hotel might be pricy but I still recommend for the location and if you would like to have a luxury experience.
