UPDATE: Although they would not issue a refund to our debit card, they did offer us a store credit for the full amount that my husband paid. I appreciate them doing something about this situation instead of blowing us off. Thank you.So sad and frustrated. Yesterday was my birthday and my husband ordered me a cake from here to celebrate as a surprise. Not only did the cake decorating look bad, the cake was inedible. Like truly inedible. My husband and I couldn’t even finish our slices. This cake was huge and not cheap, yet we had to throw the ENTIRE cake out. So wasteful! On my birthday I got ONE bite of cake. The cake was not cooked all the way, the frosting was “off” like it tasted like chemicals, and the texture of the frosting and cake was all wrong. The filling was TERRIBLE. It was strawberries and some sort of whipped cream. My husband also asked them to write my name on the cake board but they wrote it on the cake (a minor issue). Please see the photos we uploaded.Even after getting a refund (which we have not received yet), I’d still be super sad that we didn’t have a cake to eat and enjoy. We have already reached out to the bakery.

I ordered cookies from Hayley's Lamar location for my nephew's birthday. Since I live out of town I wanted information on what I could order for same day delivery. I spoke to Mason who seemed very disinterested in helping me determine what items would be available that day for delivery. Instead, he referred me to their website which used ChowNow as a delivery app. In my order I specified that the theme was a birthday and didn't want pastels. Not only did the order include mostly pastels, the cookies said "Happy Easter" and had bunnies and carrots on them. When I called to let them know the order wasn't what I specified, they blamed ChowNow for the mistake. I spoke with Felicia who was very helpful, however I'm still awaiting a call back from Mason.

Cookies for my daughter's baby shower were ordered and when I went to pick them up they were green instead of the blue as ordered. When I relayed this to the staff he quickly went to the back and a person I'm assuming was the chef (due the way she was dressed) came out and was very dismissive. No apology for the mistake. This interaction was very disappointing as I believe this situation could have been handled with kindness.

**please note the response from Hayley's below which does a perfect job of highlighting how out of touch they are with customers*** - Despite the palatable quality of the cookies we sampled, they ultimately fell short of our event's requirements—a fundamental expectation one would presume a bakery specializing in custom orders could fulfill. This sentiment was echoed in my communication with my credit card company, highlighting not just a personal disappointment but a recurring theme discernible in numerous reviews of your establishment. It seems I am far from alone in encountering this disparity between the service promised and that which is delivered. It's disconcerting to observe a business so seemingly detached from its clientele's needs, and I wish you luck as you navigate the ensuing repercussions, including chargebacks, from customers disillusioned by your inability to meet the standards you profess to uphold.---I ordered custom cookies for my sisters bachelorette party. There’s opportunity to add notes about what changes you want to the cookies and I put clear directions on small tweaks when I placed the order 2 months beforehand. Upon receiving the cookies, the directions were disregarded. When I reached out to them, they said there was fine print saying you couldn’t make any changes and they offered me to refund me for the few cookies that we were dissatisfied with. I asked if they could instead just make us the cookies we requested or help us place an additional rush order and they were not willing to work with us on that. Had to spend additional money to get cookies elsewhere rush shipped so that we had enough for the event. In fairness, the cookies that came out well did look nice and taste good! However, the team should have called and let us know they weren’t able to make the modifications especially since we ordered well in advance. They left us in a bad spot scrambling for the special day since we had an insufficient number of cookies to use for the event.

This place is great if you have a sweet tooth and just want to pop in for a cookie, cupcake, croissant or other treat. I love their oatmeal pecan chocolate chip- soft, slightly chewy, and not too sweet!It’s also great if you need a cake or specialty cookies for an upcoming event/party.If you are waiting in line for breakfast at Snooze next door- you can pop in for a hold over and/or coffee. There’s also cute merch for a last minute gift to a friend or even yourself!

Fun cafe with whimsical charm. Found this place while waiting for a table at the brunch place next door. Warm drinks, bakery items sharing positive affirmations, alternative milk and gluten-free offerings. We had so much fun exploring we left with custom apparel. Really fun cafe. 🎂❤️☕️

The best bakery!! I’m obsessed. I love walking in and picking cookies, brownies, and/ or cupcakes out of the case. Everything is delicious.I’ve also ordered a couple of custom cakes from Hayley’s and they’ve been absolutely fabulous! They knocked it out of the park on the birthday cakes I’ve ordered!!And doing forget to check out their little gift section. Cute and funny presents. Also awesome selection of plates and napkins!

Great bakery. Large assortment of cookies and cupcakes. They have several gluten free options as well and these GF goodies taste delicious.I bought a cake for a birthday and it was beautiful and scrumptious.Definitely recommend this place for your sweet tooth

Great tasting cookies that are also beautifully decorated. Very pleasantly surprised by how delicious they were. Ordered the cookies for a grad party and the guests loved them too. Highly recommend.
