We are currently on the tail end of our stay. I booked 2 nights here and we leave tomorrow and the only bad thing I have to say is…we leave tomorrow!
This place is the most amazing glamping experience I’ve had in so long!! Definitely 5+ stars!!! We live in the DFW area and my job is flexible so we do a lot of 2-day mini road-trips throughout Texas. The last few air bnb bookings have been a bust. Last week we stayed in a $320 per night “high end” cabin in Canton, TX and it was nothing like this experience. For a fraction of the cost, you get so much more here!!!
If you are looking for a TRUE glamping experience, skip the over-the-top, pretentious, overpriced Airbnbs and BOOK AT GREEN ACRES. You won’t regret it. It’s so adorable here!!! I’m here with my 13 year old son but I definitely plan on coming back with my husband and our younger kids very soon. The trailers are so freakin CUTE!!! There’s so many spots to take pictures! The amenities are on point. The grounds and campfire area are so adorable. It’s truly picture perfect.
I love how rustic everything is; it feels like ACTUAL camping. I will say the bathhouse, restrooms/showers are SUPER nice. They are clean and clearly remodeled, because WOW are they beautiful. You literally have everything you need here. Take it from someone who has been allll throughout Texas to many of glamping sites, Green Acres is my new fav spot.
I could even see doing our family reunion here and booking out all the trailers and cabins. This would be a PERFECT location to rent out the park.
Our itinerary:
Booked 2 nights at Green Acres (best decision ever). We are staying in “The Pearl” It has two very comfortable twin beds.
For the first afternoon we hung out on the grounds, took pics, explored the area.
The next day we spent the day at Krause Springs, which is about 5 minutes up the road. After that, we went to Longhorn Cavern State Park and did the Walking tour…which is also awesome but I’ll save that for another review. Tomorrow we plan on spending the day in Historic Marble Falls which we saw on the way in. It’s only about 20 minutes up the road.
