Was really looking forward to my first visit here, but experience was diminished considerably by staff members talking loudly and at length about the state of one of the bathrooms they'd just had to clean. I get it, you were grossed out, but talk about that outside the hearing range of your customers who are paying to eat and drink at your establishment. Another staff member was also swearing about a customer, again loudly enough where other patrons could hear him complaining.

It's a really neat place to grab a coffee or a bite to eat (or an adult beverage, if that's your thing). We sat on the patio at the picnic tables in the evening; the atmosphere was cozy and laid back, and the lighting was warm and appropriate. It's a very old house, and the inside looks and feels like an antique. Very clean, very welcoming.If you're looking for a place outside of the norm, and very "Austin," check it out.

Tonight was my first time here. First of all, this is a beautiful structure except that it originally belonged to a confederate. The portions are huge, my wife ordered a panini, I wasn't hungry so I didn't order anything. The both of us together couldn't finish it. Tonight was a bit cold, but the outdoor seating is amazing. I'll definitely be back here.

Freddo is a gorgeous Victorian home turned coffee shop. You can often see live music here and support art and small business with their many market opportunities.Food and drinks are absolutely delicious and they have great deals on both!You can explore upstairs and have a seat or check out their curated art gallery!!The outdoors is newly renovated with dog park, swings and plenty of shaded picnic tables.Family friendly and pet friendly establishment!Highly recommend a visit!!

Great vibe!Very nice and spacious historic house. Plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.Menu with lots of options. Super friendly staff.Parking available. What else do you need! :)
