My fiance and I started several months ago to do a wedding dance and have had so much fun learning the basics and our own wedding dance! All the instructors are fantastic, especially Jorge and Cindy! Highly recommend!

Again, cannot stress how amazing this studio is. The community they are building is so supportive and special

I've been taking lessons with Fred Astaire Austin for almost 2 years. My wife and I started with wedding dance lessons, but quickly decided we wanted to continue with ballroom lessons too. It's such a welcoming and social environment - Meg, Jorge, Cindy and Gio are patient teachers and highly knowledgeable of the main dances. They always have your back, but most importantly make learning to dance FUN! They give the best cards with words of encouragement before an event. You won't find a more enjoyable studio in Austin - there's a reason they win most spirited studio at comps!

Meg is an amazing, patient, funny, fun, talented and professional teacher. Did I mention patient? Lol. It's been years since we have danced and neither of us have ballroom experience. Meg takes us through the steps slowly and helps us with tips to catch on. It's been a great experience and we have even stayed on for more classes. We highly recommend this site! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dominique and Remi were great to us. Ive improved quite a bit over the course of 5 lessons. I am far more confident in my dancing ability after spending time with them.

Fred Astaire Dance Studio Austin is such a GREAT studio. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, the dance director is awesome and always working to make our experience even better, and the students are welcoming and fun. I've lived in Austin for 20 years and it took walking into this dance studio 2 years ago to feel like I finally made some amazing friends!! Plus... it's great exercise!! (I've lost about 40lbs!!) Dancing is not only great physical exercise, but it is a great mental work out too, often with a little bit of emotional fine tuning thrown in. Now, who wouldn't want to find all of that in one place?!! Come on... If you've been wavering on whether to come in... stop wavering and just come on in and check us out. You won't be sorry. (No partner necessary)

I have been to a number of places to dance after moving to Austin. I love Fred Astaire in Austin. The people are very kind and welcoming- very patient. There are a number of excellent dances and parties, group and private lessons. The atmosphere is very conducive to learning and sharing with others in a very safe way. It is also a lovely location. All levels of dancing are there for both men and women, and the people are very relaxed no matter the talent level. It is an excellent get-away during the week, and able to learn new skills. My personal instructor is Damion. He is incredible dancer and instructor. Very kind and knowledable. Patient. Of the dancing in Austin, this the place I would recommend beyond a doubt if you are looking for the above!

My husband and I had such a great experience at Fred Astaire Dance Studio. We have never had any formal dance lessons and we are not in too many situations where we even dance. We went with our daughter a few of the lessons...preparing for her wedding. Our instructor (Hannah) was amazing! She was so patient and completely nonjudgmental. She took us where we were (beginners) and worked with us. I would highly recommend this place regardless of the level you are. It was such a fun experience with such talented instructors! I enjoyed just watching all the different lessons happening on the floor during our time there...individuals, couples and groups!

I have been dancing at the studio for two years. The experience has been wonderful. I have learned a lot and had a good time. The staff and instructors are great. I am grateful to them all but particularly my instructor Dillon.
