First off, we started at the bar for a drink. The drinks were delicious: I had an old fashioned and fiancé had a side car with cognac. The service was excellent, flat out. Our waiter Nikita was very nice and attentive, and our guy Fernando made sure everything was great for our whole dinner. They really are the only reason I didn’t rate less than 3 stars.
Now onto the food: while I found the quality of the food to be good, it wasn’t anything to write home about as far as taste and seasoning.
The best cuts of steak were the most bland, and the lamb was very gamey. The top sirloin was kinda tough and very bland. We didn’t get to try any rib cuts or any pork. I’ll say we got seated around 9:45 and they stop seating at 10:30 so maybe that’s why, but still disappointing.
The best steaks we had were the garlic steak, the bacon wrapped steak, (and fiancé said filet mignon was good). The chicken was really tasty and well seasoned too.
The best sides/Apps were the complimentary cheese bread, the roasted cheese with honey, the roasted zucchini, squash & cauliflower, Brazilian street corn, and the fried bananas.
The very best thing we had all night besides the cheese and honey was the cheesecake crème brûlée! It was so good we had to take one home, and I don’t even like cheesecake. And idk if it’s because I’m special or if everyone gets this, but they wrote a cute lil thank you message on my plate (pictured).
Overall, I’m glad fiancé got to experience it, but we probably wouldn’t go back unless someone invited us for a dinner or event. Thank you Nikita, Fernando and staff!
