Must-visit if you're visiting Austin. Their show may not be for everyone especially when it comes to political humor but they have bits and magic segments that are more palatable for the general public. Very friendly staff and payment of $30 is worth the 1 hr and 40 mins of show

This show is amazing! Even if you not in to politics or USA news as we are European it's easy to follow. Especially the magic show was great. I would definitely recommend it and would go again myself when I'm in Austin. If you don't want to be picked as part of the show, don't sit on the first 3 rows.

Such a fun night! The jokes were hilarious, the magic was a delight, but most of all the talent was phenomenal!! Will definitely be back!

I will return many times as this place is very entertaining and worth the money. The acts chamge and many are not the same or a little different to give you a surprise. Highly recommend going!

Enjoyed our 7pm show last night at Esther’s Follies, a vaudeville show filled with political satire, magic, current events, and lots of singing. The cast of characters played numerous roles, both onstage, and on the sidewalk looking into the theater. We purchased tickets well in advance and our seats had our last names on half sheets of paper. The audience seats rise toward the back so everyone is able to have unobstructed views. There was a minor in the audience (2nd or 3rd row). When the magician spotted him and when learning that the boy was 13, announced to the cast that he was NOT changing his act. There is innuendo and such, but not uncomfortable. We really enjoyed the show. Their timing is impeccable, their voices strong, and they make the audience feel a part of the show. There is a bar inside and a taqueria attached so it’s possible to get a bite to eat and drink and bring them into the theater. Ninety-minute show with a very brief intermission.Would go back next time I’m in town.

Our first evening in Austin we snagged an impromptu reservation at Kinfolk (downstairs at Moonshine) and it turned out to be one of the very best bars we visited in our 5 days there. Very small, intimate, dark, vibey - with a serious liquor collection and super curated cocktail menu. Thank goddess it's not full of itself like the 'experience' bars that give you a time limit and have no idea what they're serving. No matter your taste, the very knowledgeable tableside expert/mixologist at Kinfolk will make sure you get exactly what you crave (or didn't know you were craving!). My favorite was Harry's Matador. It's just a fantastic place. Go! (Make reservations, it's small). We would love to visit again next time we're in town.

A studio of 30 years in the same spot offering classes and artwork of 50 local artists. Great place to support local business and culture.
