5 stars! I was told by a lot of people to check this place out and boy did it live up to the reputation! Ambience was beautiful, service excellent and food was amazing. My gf and I came for my 50th birthday and it was one of the best meals I've ever had!

I’m a bit shocked by how many good reviews this place has. Maybe their brunch is better than their dinner? But my husband and I went for dinner this past weekend and we felt a bit robbed and bit let down. We reserved chefs table but got seated in their downstairs which we joked seemed like a bunker. Definitely nowhere near the kitchen or the chef. It took about 15-25 minutes per drink order. It seemed like they only had one bartender for the bottom level with multiple tables filled and people seated at the bar. The apps we had were really delicious, the mussels and the caviar bites. But that’s where it ends. Our main courses were a disaster. I ordered the chicken and I’m not sure what they think Pollo à la brasa (as described) is but it was not that. Some pieces of my chicken were so hard and boney like consistency that it could not be consumed. Other parts were very dry or undercooked and very bland. The random salad they throw on the plate was overly drenched in vinegar. My side of plantains were great! My husband ordered the red snapper - market fish was not de-boned properly and he kept having to remove the bones nonstop. His side of broccolini was bland and just overly textured odd. I ordered a non -alcoholic beverage that literally came as we prepared to order the check. It was not included in the check as they acknowledged the lapse in the order. I’m pretty sure there was only one waiter for the whole downstairs area. For $400 (including tip) for 2 appetizers, 2 mains, 2 sides and 2 alcoholic beverages this restaurant is a complete ripoff. If you’re going to charge high dollar for main dishes, your chef and team need to cook better. I would not revisit nor recommend

The best dining experience I have experienced a Rosa 5 continue to and 6;decades. Amazing ng and friendly service and the food was imaginative and each course was the best I have ever tasted. Can't get better than ember kitchen.

Phenomenal staff. Definitely more of an upscale restaurant and pricey menu, so wouldn’t recommend for a normal occurrence, but great for date nights or special occasions.

Highly recommended! Service couldn't be better. Our waitress explained every single dish in the menu, and her recommendations were just perfect. We got a mezcal cocktail as a welcome drink. It was just perfect! I'm definitely coming back. I gotta say that tortillas were not so great (from a Mexican who really loves tortillas), too thick. Also, cocktails are fine, but they put too much ice.

This so far exceeded my expectations that I don’t know how I can even put into words how great it is. We were immediately greeted by Presley, the sweetest server there ever was. This was 10/10 service. Seriously, give this girl a raise. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great first time here, going as far as comping several things for us to try. The welcome cocktail served with the homemade tortillas, butter and beef tallow… now that’s a true welcome. The food and cocktails were DIVINE. I don’t even have a photo of the shrimp scampi because it was here and gone in 10 seconds flat. Everything was just amazing, so flavorful and truly unique. And oh by the way you get to PICK YOUR OWN STEAK KNIFE. Chef Allen and team you have really outdone yourselves. Now we get a lot of new and expensive restaurants here in Austin that are so not worth it. This isn’t like that at all. I felt like I was eating at a Michelin star restaurant but everything there was my best friend or close family. Can’t wait to go back and try more food. I adore Ember! My new favorite spot here and will be for a long time to come.

We came to Ember to celebrate our anniversary which was an excellent decision! The decor was modern and pleasing while the ambiance was welcoming. Once we sat we were greeted promptly by our energetic server, PRESLEY who also knows her stuff. She was attentive, friendly but most importantly passionate. She recommended great dishes and made us feel special to be there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We loved the food, ambiance, service so much that we’ll definitely be back with friends & families. Thanks for a memorable night!

Ember was amazing! The food was delicious and so unique. The space is absolutely beautiful. We will be coming back for sure! Our server, Pablo, was spectacular and so friendly. This restaurant had the best service I’ve had at a place in years. 10/10

Had a great meal at this newly opened restaurant. The caviar bites are yummy, fun, and importantly had a lot of caviar on them! The carrots are great, as well as the squash and corn. I’m not a vegetarian but I loved all the veggie dishes! It’s a really beautiful restaurant and they have a cool bar downstairs. The cocktails are great in the bar and in the restaurant…they do an espresso martini with tequila instead of vodka and it is the perfect Texan pick me up!
