What makes it fun

Cosmic was inspired by Earth. We saw so much potential in our culture, heritage, and artistic background to embrace the principles of permaculture and sustainability by providing us with a natural, organic place for people to gather. To make this happen we built rainwater ponds, raised-beds and waterfalls that allowed pollinators to thrive. We use all of these features in our gardens and chicken coops to grow everything from herbs, nuts and vegetables. Everything that Cosmic has been, is now or will become - all unites under the philosophy of creating an environment for locally made art and music flourish!

I never thought to write a review about a coffee shop/bar I frequent, but I must give a shout out to Cam, our bartender. Cam was such a fun and friendly bartender. He made the whole experience at Cosmic so much more enjoyable…super personable, welcoming, and just genuinely fun to be around. He kept the energy up, was great to chat with, and made us feel right at home. I love knowing im going to come here and have a great experience and service. Also - they’re hazy ipa collab with meanwhile!? So good. Would 100% recommend.

Writing this review to beg the owners to turn off the extremely generic, top 100 music playlists. This used to be a bar where you could hear local Austin greats like Grupo Fantasma playing over the speakers regularly, and this was crucial to the overall vibe of Cosmic. In the last hour I've been subjected to Rascal Flats, the 1975, Hozier, and the Foundations. There is no atmosphere when the music has no theme / curation.

Fist time coming here. We had an awesome time. The frozen mangonada is delicious and the local orange cat, Cheese, is the coolest. Also, our phenomenal bartender, Cam, was super friendly, and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back for the drinks, service, and atmosphere.

This cosmic is amazing. The food and drink options are amazing. Everything tastes so good and lots of care are put into ensuring the quality is high. I’ve gone here at night with my family on multiple occasions. The times we’ve gone it’s been chill but I know it can get crazy at night and day depending on what part of the week you go. I highly recommend if you like good food, drinks, and people watching!

Perfect hangout spot! I love that there’s multiple food trucks to choose from and great drinks at the bar. Will definitely be back! Update: Went back with my Bach party before going two stepping and it was an amazing time. My out of town friends loved the vibe and kitty🐈! Service was so friendly. Thanks y’all!

Cosmic Coffee is an absolute gem. The vibe is awesome, the coffee is top-tier, and everything just feels right the moment you walk in. Great atmosphere to relax, meet friends, or get some work done. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Highly recommend!

Literally such a hidden gem. One of our friends who is a local raved ahoy this place. The lemonade was literally the best most refreshing beverage. The coffee was also good (for an Australian standard) the vibes were so so chill. Lots of people here were working or just chilling with a book. The taco food truck was very good also.

Cosmic is one of my favorite places to hang out in Austin and a spot I recommend constantly. The atmosphere is unbeatable. Laid back, lively, yet relaxing all at once. It is the kind of place you can linger for hours without feeling rushed, whether you are meeting friends or just enjoying the space. The drinks are fantastic and clearly fresh made, not syrupy or overly sweet. Great selection of tap beers & ales (please bring back the Moon Tower & the sour ales!!!) Everything feels thoughtfully done and intentional (like the herbs they use grown on site, chicken coop on site), which is harder to find than it should be. The food truck lineup is also excellent, with Wow Poke being the standout for me. Easily one of the best poke bowls around and the perfect pairing with a drink outside. Great place to bring kids to let them get some wiggles out. I have met many mom friends that I still keep up with here! Cosmic nails the Austin vibe in the best way. Great atmosphere, great drinks, great food options, and consistently good energy. New redesign is awesome. An easy repeat and one of those places that makes Austin feel like Austin.

I recently came here for my first time for a client meeting on a Sunday morning. It was early enough where parking wasn’t a problem. There were plenty of tables and seating areas to pick from. The right side is mostly the seating areas for drinks and the left side is mostly for the food truck seating. You can walk up to the bar and it is nice and air conditioned. There are seating areas in the air conditioned as well. There are so many drink options to choose from. It is both a bar and a coffee shop in one. The cashier was very friendly and let me know my order would be called when ready. Once I got my coffee I found a picnic table with shade and enjoyed the waterfall sound next their fish pond. It is was the perfect spot for my meeting. Price is fair and I will definitely be returning. I do believe there is a parking problem for the later crowds and people were waiting for my parking as I left.

LeeRoy and Lewis is closed on Saturday. Was here at 4pm on a Saturday. Sign and other sources say open. First time here. Friendly and good service with the drinks. Good atmosphere.

Such a vibe! We had a wonderful time at Cosmic Coffee and Beer Garden. It was a beautiful spot with several waterfalls, water features, and plants everywhere! They also have chickens in a chicken coop on site which was cool! Alcoholic beverages were really well done but definitely not cheap. We spent like $46 for 4 drinks plus tip and one of those drinks wasn't even alcoholic. But it's definitely a nice place to come and hang for a while!

Ambiance: 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Been here multiple times. Orders and food pictures are with this review. 100% will recommend boozy coffee. It gives you kick on a hot Austin summer day. Florida seltzer is also recommended. It has sweet and tangy taste. Perfect refreshing beverage. Tried wings with buffalo sauce and those were fine. Not as good as other places but good enough as a whole dish. Mexican food is good enough for its price. We had vegetarian and chicken quesadillas. Slightly oily but full of cheese and flavors.

Oh wow, lovely place to hangout with friends. We had the frozen matcha painkiller and it was delicious on a hot summer evening in Austin. It was topped with mint leaf and nutmeg. The coconut juice, pineapple juice and orange juice blends well together in taste. The crowd is also very young that comes here. You can bring dogs as well which is pretty cool. The good thing is it's also wheelchair accessible. The waterfall in a small little pond made it very soothing and relaxing atmosphere. They play jazz and funk music which was again awesome!

The place and building were beautiful and very unique. The upstairs is only open at certain times not all day but they did let me go take a look even though it wasn’t open yet. They charge manhattan prices for cocktails definitely pricier then most places in the city. I’ve had better cocktails downtown not quite as expensive. It is a small place with seating outside. Might come to try happy hour with some friends. Service was a little hectic since they were preparing to open the upstairs.

Fantastic, massive space. Perfect for working, hanging out, catching up. There's music but it's not too loud. There is a range of food trucks and extensive drink menu (coffee, cocktails, etc). Extremely dog friendly space.
