We came here over the weekend. Excited to try a cozy spot while visiting family. We were a table of 4 adults, one toddler and an infant. We got charged gratuity because that was considered 6 people and were only notified once the bill came. This is outrageous I have never been charged gratuity for a toddler or an infant. Not to mention we didn’t even have any special requests for chairs etc. our family is used to going out to eat at high end places like Nobu, and steakhouses and never have this issue. The waitress was rude and condescending- I cannot recall her name but she had curly hair. She took long for things and it is safe to say we wouldn’t return. Maybe order biscuits to go but that’s it. The only thing that saved this place were the biscuits and the kids meal. Do not recommend and overpriced bad service place

The atmosphere was comfortable and the staff was friendly with good service. However, for the price, the food just wasn't up to par. The fried green tomatoes were fine but could have used more seasoning. The shrimp and grits had delicious blackened shrimp, but the grits were bland and came with far too much arugula. We also got the chicken pot pie, and although the crust (only on top) was nice and flaky, the filling was very watery and not very appetizing. The best thing we tried was the "fried chicken little biscuit", which was also priced reasonably compared to everything else.

When you walk in you will meet Andre the host he is the most wonderful man I have ever met so interesting and kind, our food was delicious and our waitress was awesome. Cozy and quite lovely experience!

We sat outside and the weather was perfect! I had the chicken, based on the waiters recommendations, and it was amazing! So flavorful! Definitely recommend if you're in the Mueller area!

They’ve never done me wrong. The fish and dirty rice are amazing, grits is top of the line, the steak is grass fed, and on top of that they work really hard to prepare a seed oil free meal by replacing their oil blend with butter if you’d prefer. Absolutely acccomodating and friendly service. 10/10 recommend!

Coleen’s Bloody Mary was exceptional and refreshingly spicy (most places don’t make it actually spicy even when you ask). The corn bread was amazing, not dry, and came to the table straight out of the oven. My chicken and waffles was really good and had such a generous portion of chicken that I had to take it home. Staff were attentive and helpful…12/10 would go again

Loved the atmosphere. The restaurant was filled with natural sunlight and the decor was so calming. Service was great! They did charge a 20% fee which was fine because service was awesome. I had the Southern Breakfast which was seasoned well and the biscuit was perfect. I didn't like the grits because it had some type of herb in it. My son loved his brunch burger and my husband had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was fried perfectly packed with flavor and he also liked the waffle. Reservations are recommended because they get quite busy. Also try to arrive early because you may have trouble finding parking.

Only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table. I would have waited an hour if I had to. The Cobb Salad is the best I've ever had. Added fried chicken and avocado. It was filling and light all at the same time. Absolutely delicious. The decor was so pretty. Looking forward to bringing my folks next time they come to town. Thanks for a wonderful meal.
