I really wanted to love this place, and in many ways I did. The comedians were great, the lineup was solid, and you can tell Cap City books quality talent. That part absolutely delivered.
That said, the experience was noticeably impacted by how tightly packed the space was. Seating felt extremely cramped, and a lot of the night was spent trying to see past people in front of me—many of whom were taller—rather than actually enjoying the performance. By the end of the show, my neck was genuinely sore from craning just to get a clear view.
For the price paid, I expected a bit more comfort and better sightlines. The intimate atmosphere can be a plus, but this crossed into overcrowded, which took away from the overall enjoyment.
Still a good venue with strong comics, but the seating and spacing really held this back from being a five-star experience. I’d come back, but only with the hope that crowding and visibility are improved.
