Incredible meal and very friendly staff. Ceviche was extremely fresh and the perfect way to start the meal. The jerk chicken was incredible, a bit of an elevated jerk chicken and I really enjoyed it. The sauce it came with was incredible and spicy. The plantains were a perfect compliment to the jerk chicken.

Wow, I am still in awe of my recent dining experience at Canje. I had heard so many great things about this place and I was excited to finally give it a try. I have to say, it exceeded ALL of my expectations and then some.As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the ambiance. The decor was stunning and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The staff WAS friendly, and gave us a warm welcome.The menu prides itself in its Caribbean-inspired cuisine and I have to say I was blown away by the creativity and skill of the chef. Each dish was a work of art, both in presentation and in flavor. I particularly loved the Ceviche, it was a perfect blend of spices and flavors that left my taste buds wanting more.The waitstaff was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to our journey through the multiple dishes we ordered. Our server also made great suggestions to enhance our experience with a tropical cocktail. I felt like I was in the best hands throughout the entire meal.I can confidently say that Canje is one of the best restaurants in Austin and beyond. It's no wonder that it has recently been rated as one of the best in the country. The hype is real, and I can't wait to go back and experience it all over again.

Great experience! I didn’t know this restaurant existed lol until a friend did some reservations for us. The exterior and interior are super cute! The food was amazing, drinks looked amazing and tasty..I had a few mock-tails which were made just right. Definitely recommend 👌🏻

The service was exceptional. Whenever we needed something, someone was already anticipating it and at our table immediately. It was a relaxed but refined environment. The food was delicious and showed complexity in the ingredients / flavors utilized. Very much enjoyed it. Albacore ceviche was my favorite and would highly recommend. The peanuts were an unexpected but welcomed delight paired with the fresh fish. We will be returning!

This place is so good been here twice this week. Both times had the greatest "Cuisine Concierge" Joshua. So much wonderful food from Guyana, Jamaica, & another country I can't recall. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Will be back to try something wonderful & new. Reservations are a must. Oh and everything you order is shareable. Kudos Canje my new favorite restaurant.

This spot was an absolute gem. I had no expectations coming in but was blown away by the chic interior, hip vibes, and most importantly, amazing vegan and vegetarian options! We had a family style mealAnd every dish was memorable. My personal favorite was curry and grilled plantain. Sad that I don’t live in Austin, but will definitely be recommending to friends that visit!
