We had high hopes for this place as a new neighborhood diner for us. The exterior and general layout are well designed. We had so many issues with the food and it's worth noting we are the type that will not bring up ordering problems unless it's significant. To start, my son's sausage patties were raw inside - I tried them and it was straight uncooked in the middle. His pancakes where very eggy like a thin crepe consistency but had a burnt griddle taste on the edges. The kids asked to add chocolate chips to their pancakes. That’s my surprise, that was one more easy add-on The restaurant did not have available. My wife ordered a side of sausage links and they brought out burned turkey sausages instead. Once the waiter brought out the right breakfast side, it ended up the meat was rancid once she tasted it.I had the breakfast tacos - the brisket tasted freeze dried add the tortillas were stale. The eggs and hashbrowns were fine, it was just anything else beyond fried egg seemed to be out of their grasp.if I was to pinpoint what feels like the root issue, it seems like they’re understaffed and overall it’s confusing a nice looking restaurant in Mueller is completely dead on a Saturday morning at 9 AM.Something is just off and it feels like they have minimal cooking staff that seem lost by what they are sending out on plates.they must also have some issue with the kitchen generally because two previous times we came in the past months they told us they could only service coffee and pastries because their chef never showed up. This is amateur league stuff. Some limited partner / investor is losing a lot of money due to a poorly managed business 🤷‍♂️

Very cute place. Pretty limited menu. Service was not great and when we asked for recommendations, server did not seem to be a big fan of the food served. We decided to just get appetizer of loaded fries which were good. Lemonade tasted like powder.

I went here for a later lunch with a group of friends on Saturday afternoon. It was SO cutely decorated & we were seated right away. The service was quick, friendly, & efficient. I got avocado toast with tomatoes and we shared the chicken and waffle kebabs. Everything was absolutely delicious! We loved it & I’ll happily go back anytime & would love to explore more of their menu! 5/5 stars!

We LOVE Blue Lacy! Everytime we come we enjoy some fantastic food, drinks, and atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The patio space is awesome! When you go be sure to try their chicken and waffle kabobs & buffalo sliders. They are great!

WOW! This place is so cool and relaxing! The chocolate cake and Prosecco were so tasty and the atmosphere is to die for. I love the decor and all the foliage. They have a killer mural on the back and there is seating for all types. Very family and dog-friendly! They even have treats for the pups. Our hostess, Kathryn, and waitress, Michelle, were AMAZING and so sweet! Definitely check it out. I absolutely recommend this place!

Snappy and atmospheric, Blue Lacy is on point for a late morning Saturday brunch (or lunch or dinner, their whole menu is served all day). The huge dog friendly patio is also gorgeous however we ate at the bar. Exceptional service from Josh! Not sure how he made so many complex, unique cocktails while casually chatting with us however his service was on point. It was really cool to see all of the cocktails made too. We tried ‘Easy Like an Austin Morning’ because we literally had too after reading the ingredients. As we were discussing the cocktails’ merits Josh mentioned that he created the recipe which had recently been featured in Forbes (not even on purpose 👀 ). Josh was so sweet to grab us a new Blue Lacy branded ice cube for the picture below as we realized too late how adorable it is to brand an Ice Cube. We adore this spot and will definitely be back. This review is already too long however worth a mention, the food is absolutely delicious!!!!!!!!!!
