The best climbing/movement community in Austin! Couldn’t say any more kind words about the gym, the staff, the instructors, and fellow members!

My son really wanted to try indoor rock climbing so we decided to check this place out. I called ahead of time to see how it works & was told about the kid’s climbing room and that I could come any time that day. I said perfect and I would see them in 1/2 hour. I got there and they said the kid’s room was closed for a birthday party lol. They said most weekends it’s booked for birthday parties so no clue when kids can actually climb. It was hard to explain to a preschooler that we can’t do what I said we were going to do so we just went out for ice cream. Staff didn’t really seem to care at all & I wouldn’t try this place again. .

What was once a favorite place for my children is now unwelcoming. Kids shoved in one tiny corner, staff hovering over you when a child goes to get a drink at the water fountain because they “should be supervised” for this. If you have more than two children you are no longer allowed in the premises because you are an only allowed to supervise two children at a time. One of our children had to sit on a bench while the other two played. I was told I needed to “actively parent” my children in an aggressive manner despite standing in front of them. Sounds like this place is now being cheap and wont hire staff accordingly. A large portion of the area is petitioned off for maintenance yet no discount, half the kids play area is boarded up. The staff clearly don’t like kids despite the place being empty. Crazy how quickly a place can go downhill. It used to be so welcoming. This place has more rules than a nursing home. Saveyour money, I won’t return.

The routes are creative and they are changed every week, so you won’t get bored. They cater to all skill levels. Plus, the staff are really friendly and eager to help.

Really enjoyed my visit to this bouldering only gym. The quality of the holds and route setting is very good. The walls have good texture, and it was easy for me to find climbs at my grade level. The staff was very friendly. I was traveling and forgot my shoes, and I was able to buy my favorite shoe in my size, which was amazing. A good crowd showed up around 5pm, I found it easy to make friends. There were climbers of all skill levels. There were styles of holds I had never seen before, so that was a treat. Amenities seem plentiful, there were nice showers and locker rooms, plenty of cubbies and water fountains around. Very impressed, wish I lived nearby! Would visit again next time in in town.
