    What makes it fun

We transformed a downtown mansion built in 1904 into a trendy resort with large suites and rooms decorated with unique art work by local artists. Our guests enjoy staying near restaurants, bars, music venues, the State Capital, UT Austin, and Ladybird Lake and more. Visitors often book individual rooms or floors of the hotel for special events such as weddings, reunions and during UT football game.

We booked this property through Grand Welcome Austin, which was an absolute breeze and I can’t say enough good things about them.

    Pros:
-Our suite and the entire home was beautiful and immaculately clean
    -The beds are SUPER comfortable
    -We appreciated the blackout curtains
-The property was in a more quiet area, but is still very close to restaurants / downtown areas

    Cons:
-When we arrived at 4pm, our access code didn’t work. The cleaner was showing up at 4pm to clean the space and told us that there was a miscommunication and we ended up waiting almost another hour to get into the suite. Not a super big deal, but just something to be mindful of
    - The biggest headache for our group was the shower - it was essentially a few small streams of water (with terrible water pressure), and 2 of the days the water never warmed up so we all ended up taking sink baths instead. When you’ve spent all day exploring Austin and are ready to get refreshed, this is a big issue.
-All of the Roman shades in the bedrooms are broken. One of the windows had the latch broken off as well - pretty easy fix for everything, but still.

Overall, the space served our needs for a quick weekend trip!

I would not recommend this place to anyone that would like to have a private, clean, bug free stay in ATX.

This place has cameras on the inside of the property, which made everyone incredibly uncomfortable.

There were ants in all the first floor beds. Two people of our party left with ants in their suitcase. One person had ants in their bed.

We were told explicitly to not damage the walls or there would be $1000 fine. We complied, but we also noticed that the previously fined guest damages did not go into actually fixing any of the wall damage. There is a huge chunk missing from the wall in the first bedroom.

None of the baking sheets are actually clean - the cake on grease was so bad that we just ended up buying our own, even though we were told that there was a fully stocked kitchen available.

There was mold in the bathrooms that were not addressed or even cleaned properly.

This day was a really disgusting experience overall especially with our privacy being invaded due to the cameras.

Edit: it wasn’t one issue, it was a bunch of them. This place was disgusting, with greasy sheet pans, mold on the shower curtain, dust in the minisplits, actual holes in walls and a 1000$ fine but “we won’t fix the holes”. This entire place is predatory and even without the interior cameras, it is a sitting hazard.

We rented out the entire Adina House for a bachelorette party and it was absolutely PERFECT! Highly recommend! Very good service, clean areas, and super comfy beds

The room was okay and it was a good location since we were able to walk to the city but, a big minus was that there was no hot water. The hot water run out after 2 minutes so unfortunately we needed to take cold water showers.

This location was in the heart of downtown Austin, 3 blocks from the Capital. It made for easy walk or uber to restaurants. The owners were awesome! We met them as we arrived and they had the place looking amazing. It had a shared kitchen but we happened to be the only ones there and it worked out great for our working remote getaway! I definitely recommend staying here if it's available!!

This place was awesome! The decor was spot on. The place was very clean and had a good open feel to it. The beds were amazing. All the windows letting light in was great. The historic neighborhood was really cool, and surprisingly quiet. The original Austin High School is next door which is now ACC. Walking distance to Shoal Creek trail that takes you right into downtown with plenty of restaurants, bars, and patios to hang out at was convenient. The Capitol building is just a few blocks away. The community kitchen and dining area had everything you needed to cook your own food and plenty of seating for guests to still have their own spot. Complimentary coffee that can be made in a French press in the morning was a nice touch. The sweet owners are hands on and we're also staying there during our visit. They always made sure we were having a great stay while there and made sure we didn't need anything. The only thing I would give the heads up on is that if you're coming with guests, the bedrooms don't have any doors or curtains for privacy. I'm sure it's to create that open feel, so if that's not a big deal, I would definitely recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Valentines weekend staycation and our experience was perfect. The beautiful interiors make you feel like royalty and the on-site manager, Megan, made our stay effortless. We truly felt like a part of the family. 100% would recommend and will stay here again once we get the chance. Thank you Adina!

As a person who travels for work, a quick getaway was much needed after sheltering at home for over three months. Safety was definitely my main priority when making my travel arrangements and after reading about Adina's COVID- 19 precautionary measures which included a complete disinfection of the property using binary ionization technology I definitely felt at ease and booked my stay right away. - You can think of the hotel as a museum and every room to be a unique piece of art (definitely check out the pictures posted here; you'll fall in love). For our first night, we needed flexibility with our check in as we were expected to arrive a bit past 10pm and the owners were super understanding and accommodating, so this was no issue. Our room had the comfiest of beds and after a full day of work and a long drive, this felt like heaven. The next morning, we enjoyed breakfast and coffee in the lounge area. During our weekend in Austin, restaurants and bars were shut down but this was not issue. The hotel is conveniently located close to many attractions that you can enjoy freely while maintaining social distance. If you are an outdoors person, head over to Lady Bird Lake and rent out a kayak or paddle board. Looking for places to eat? Austin has many delicious restaurants and getting food to go for picnics at the Capitol, UT, Lady Bird Lake, etc. were definitely pleasant and relaxing. - To the owners, thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Amazing place to stay if you're in Austin and a hidden Gem. Definitely recommend staying here as it is walking distance to restaurants, 6th street and the Capitol. We booked our trip for the weekend and rented the suite. The room felt like an upscale apt with beautiful art work throughout the house. The beds were comfortable and the owners made you feel like family. They were very helpful with restaurant recommendations and always made us feel welcome. Great experience and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Austin.
