Vic & Al's is a family owned restaurant and bar dedicated to serving the best scratch-made recipes inspired by our roots in Southern Louisiana and the Texas Gulf Coast. Really cool atmosphere but limited seating. Watch your knees, those iron chairs and tables are low.
We got bread service, which is just bread with butter and evoo, you could skip it (although the butter might be great I just tried the evoo not the butter).
We had the matrimonio which has bratwurst and blood sausage and a little bread. I loved it. My friend thought the blood sausage was a little too strong of a flavor but I loved the strong flavor. It came with chimchurri which tasted great. He loved the bratwurst. The matrimonio was a favorite for both of us, but don’t expect a ton of food for the price, just high quality.
I had the chicken and spicy beef empanadas. I liked the chicken one more. They were both decent. In the future I’ll try something else since there’s a lot of interesting authentic-looking options on the menu.
Prices range from high teens into the 20s for each person.
